Let's be honest, if they can add the giant chicken from Family Guy to fortnite WITH proportions and all, they could probably realistically add sonic and company without even making them look weird or stretched like this.
Different is the chicken was to big so you just make him shorter sonic is already short and you can't make him bigger so he can only be added as a backbling
With the current season being about cars and going fast, and the fact there was a chili dog shown during the Eminem event, I would say its a possibility, who knows, they either might be part of the unrevealed characters this season pass or would be a four character bundle to purchase like the TMNT. The concept size would look good for Amy, Knux, Shadow and Sonic and the expressions will be like any other character doing an emote.
I have a slight suggestion.. maybe also make their body a bit longer so maybe it could look a bit more natural? (Kinda like 2:33 ) Idk it could work or make their head a bit bigger (we have goku with his massive hair thingy so I'm sure it will be fine)

2:42 I just wish there was a way to make fan-made Fortnite models move their eyes and mouth to the emotes since that's what they do in-game. The lack of that makes the model uncanny.
Back bling would be badniks be it motobug buzzbomber etc Pickaxe would be the chain of the first boss fight of Sonic 1 the glier would be the egg mobile, Style would be robotnik, and emote would be playing with tha chaos emeralds like in the bad ending of Sonic 1

I'm sorry but Super Sonic would be be a transformation for sonic maybe shadow too and the chaos control could just be the emote also sonic could have his sword from Black Knight as a Pickaxe also where's Tails in this?

it looks very weird with those proportions the limbs feel too fat and the head is too small and it makes it look cursed edit: if sonic would ever be in fortnite the best proportions would prob be the one from 06
On the fortnite list where some characters are on it they give it to a random player and ask “which character do you want to see in fortnite” on that list… there is shadow
