    I didn't understand how you did the RAND formulq

    • @YAcostaSolutions
      @YAcostaSolutions  Před 4 lety

      Hi, Nathan. The RAND function, because it refreshes and displays a new value each time an action happens on the sheet, you can use it to sort the letters in random order. Here's how:
      Most of the time we sort data in columns (up and down), but, here, we're sorting the values from the RAND function from smallest to largest, but doing it left to right. By sorting the letters along with the values of the RAND function, they too move each time the values get sorted. This results in a "scrambling" or "jumbling" of the letters in each word.
      I suppose you can always scramble the letters manually, but this is faster. And, when you're done, just delete the RAND function.
      I hope this helps. Please let me know if you still have questions. Thanks!

    Superb. Thank you.
    Can you go further ?
    I would like to extrapolate downwards every possible letter alignment that could be achieved from a single 7 letter word.
    Internet Anagram solvers only provide known words with meanings. I want to see every Gobbldy Gook option, and choose from there.
    With best wishes and thanks in advance,
    Don.
