I mean, they're saying to him he'll get counter picked which puts pressure on him not to Int and meanwhile they're saying Fudge is about to first time Soraka with having only a few hours of 1v1 to prepare for the game.
He's thinking his team is trying to int him hard, he's imagining all kinds of scenario where both him and fudge run in down and the scaling goal of his comp never comes online and the game lost under 25 minutes.

I think he was trying to say that he didn't think there would be any behind the scenes stuff, but I could be wrong. I was a bit confused on his wording when he brought that up on the podcast.
He said there wasn't anything before the Koreans arrived, and this is footage with all of them.

LS saying those were off games and no where near the level they expect to be? Give me more of that Hopium. So excited to see what this team has to offer if they peak.
I mean, Fudge is learning enchanters with very few practice days and you know LS is trying to get everyone to pick champions not in the meta. You know there's going to be growing pains with learning so many champions to prepare for the future when they can all flex so many picks.
It wouldn't surprise me if the next few weeks one of the "LS picks" end ups inting it the whole game and losing the match for C9 because the champion is piloted too sub optimally due to lack of practice.
Widening your champion pool is an investment for the future at some cost in the short term because you can't have the same level of playing skill when you're picking up new champs. There's a reason why everyone around all the leagues mostly play 2-3 champs all season long, it's because they're most comfortable with them. It's great for making the player look good individually, but it stifles team strategy A LOT.
@@xavierarial24 if a pick like Soraka is too tough you have bigger issues than draft. Infact if any pick is too hard you have other problems.
Also the champions being picked are easy to execute.
@@Fulldre I think the point is not that Soraka is hard to play for pros. What is different is how you play the game at a macro level. People in silver/gold (hey, that's me) feed with Janna smite top because you aren't supposed to play that lane like a Darius lane. I imagine that's what OP means by "suboptimally". It's hard even for pros to adjust to, if they aren't used to it.
@@Fulldre its not a mechanical issue, its more so what you can do. A pick like garen or darius is mechanically easy, yet no one plays him in proplay because theres literally like 2 things he can do. You gotta figure out how to play around the limited options
@@Fulldre its not about the micro but with the teamplay. Soraka, ivern, sona pick is risky because the pros can find a way to punish it. What the guy is saying is how you maximize the non-meta picks for the higher probability of winning. You understand now?
It's actually so crazy that Blaber is the most senior player on C9 at this point. I still remember him as a sub for Svenskeren and now he is the only one that has played at C9 for more than a year...
Technically Fudge is also more than a year now. Oh how time flies...

The year they made it to semi was probably the most I was excited for C9 when they got out of the group of death.
I really loved Reapered as a coach, but I gotta say, LS feels right in C9.

I think it helped a lot with LS already having LCK connections through T1 and the time LS spent in Korea scrimming

Yeah EG has become my 2nd team. Was always a fan of Impact and now Vulcan.
Vulcan is an incredible player considering he is directly on par with Corejj, and corejj is arguably the best player in the entire LCS (so far).
I've followed him since his Clutch Gaming days, and I've been so happy to see his success every step of the way. I wish mote of the CG squad could have found his success, but at least one made it.
LS is such a sweetheart. Hopefully this line of work causes him less stress and gives him joy.

Heartwarming to see a team just having fun with their ideas and enjoying the talented folks around them.
Every piece of puzzle just fits perfectly in this C9 roster, getting talent from Korea and having LS as a coach who could speak Korean fluently for them and of course his superb insight on the game. The team's atmosphere is really good and they would only continue to get better so I can't wait to see what kind of monster they would be not only in NA but potentially internationally too.

LS bringing me back to competitive league of legends
My initial thoughts of LS definitely was he was gonna either be the guy who can take this team to a whole different level from everyone or the team was gonna implode and im glad from the things we are seeing looks like we are definitely seeing some great things from him im happy for the guy gets alot of undeserved hate
