9:40 "ready to glass the deck" Not before you sand the bottom edge to give the epoxy some key, and getting rid of the wax, kind sir! ^^

    Hey,
Everybody tell it is more difficult to have a clear carbone finish as you did than a brush carbon with another color.
What is your secret for this good result ? Two hot coat ?

Hi can i ask why the carbon under the fibreglass cloth.?

How did you keep the resin out of the tracks? I didn't see you put anything over it when you laid the carbon. Also, how did you remove the layers over the tracks, use a router? As a styrofoam board, did you put a relief plug in it for out gassing?

I didn’t put anything over the tracks, a little resin got in in a couple spots but was relatively easy to clean out. I used a dremel to open up the box holes, we have shot another video of a wing foil board that shows that and will probably post in the next month. At 20 liters and with 2lb foam I am not too worried about out gassing so I did not put a plug in it.

What temperatures are you glassing in? See you had a coat on and was wondering. Thanks

The part where I had a coat on was at the shop on the weekend a the heat was turned down. For most of the rest of it the temps were 65-72F.

I dont quite agree with the s cloth it kinda makes it cloudy looking over carbon...

That’s a fair point. I wanted the properties of S-glass and didn’t want to bury it under the carbon for processing issues- so I was willing to live with the ghosted look of the S-glass.
