This was the song that I sang to try to help overcome the brainwashing in my mind done to me through human trafficking slavery. Was a slave when I first sang it. I am now free, but I still have PTSD and sometimes I still feel the walls. I am healing.
I still haven't let anyone behind my walls and sadly I don't think I'm ready to come out from behind my wall.....it's really hard because as the song says " I'm ready to fall I'm ready to crawl On my knees to know it all I'm ready to heal I'm ready to feel ". I haven't even let my best friends behind my wall and it feels like I'm keeping everybody away and just hurting myself. I don't like being hurt.....
