Best weapon banner in gacha is in their other game Punishing gray ravens actually, it's 30pulls to get the weapon. 80% rate but it's also available at ANY TIME. You can select what ever weapon in the game to focus at any time. Insanely good.
the 1.2 patch notes are CRAZY GOOOD they fixed every single little problem i had with the game and gave us a FREE 5* in addition HOLY (i still think that credits run out pretty fast and the echo farming does kinda sucks but the patch is still the best i ve ever seen in a gacha game)
IMO they still need to fix their English Voice acting & translation issues (I hear the Japanese & French translations are particularly bad as well) but other than that, these have been solid updates.

As someone who played PGR, this is a thing. Every 2-3 events in PGR also comes with an S-Rank selector iirc. So them doing this in WuWa isn't a surprise but is very VERY welcome!

If they actually manage to rerun every character at least once every 3 months like they do in PGR, Wuthering Waves will just be miiiiiiiiles ahead of any competition xD Maybe not in revenue but for sure in player satisfaction. PGR players are right. Kuro loves to give 5* charas for free and I don't think it'll suck like the one that Genshin gave. Also confirms the leaks about it are true. Shorekeeper looks fine, but I'm still waiting and saving for Camellya. 1.1 is already crazy for me. They gave a lot of free stuff, plus the rewards you get on each event, like the Illusive realm and simulacra are a lot compared to Genshin. So much so, that I was able to get both Jinshi and Changli(+ her sig weapon), also bought two months worth or Lunite subscription as well. Genshin could get all the money, and top the sales chart, but Wuwa makes players feel happy and loved and worth spending on. Hard to believe the game is just 2 months old and feels like, the game is older than that. Looking forward to version 1.2

It is almost a default setting on certain people similar to how they default to Male and Female must always be shipped together romantically and only same gender characters can be friends.
There is no middle ground, all characters are not real, period. So it's not for you, or me, or anyone to say, what others do in their fantasy. The bigger question is will Kuro release character with mega milkers. Taoqi is nice, but not there yet.

The reason that Xiang Liao is going to be free in 1.2 is because it's been heavily speculated that the ps5 release for WuWa is to be in 1.2 and with the fact it'll be half way through the update, gives them time to advertise build up and also have a free 5 Star that also carries famous colors of Sony, But that's just a theory,
My guess to why Xiangli Yao is free is that Xiangli Yao's char buff gonna be related to material synthesis bonus, which currently no char in the game provides. Since people would do material synthesis a lot for higher tier materials in the future, it's very important that everyone would have access to that buff instead of locking it behind special gacha chars And with his char background, it's safe to assume that's what his buff gonna be

the big plus with the daily is now you just have to spend 180 energy and the daily quest which is 10 minutes max a day, after level 60, you aren't really missing the exp portion of the UL anymore so unless u want the prem currency, you dont really have to log in and play if you dont want.

for the energy storage system. WUWA is similar to HSR, but it still isn't much. H:SR has 9 min for 1 energy and 18 min for 1 energy in overflow (which is 2400, so takes a month to fill up) + 8 condensed for 40 energy. WuWa has 6 min for 1 energy and 12 min for 1 energy in overflow (which 480, so that takes 5 days to max all energy). overal, yes it's an improvement as you don't need to log in at the exact same time everyday to prevent energy cap. But I still think it needs to be longer, like at least a week for overflow only.
Kuro games reasons why they give 5 * for no reason is... Revenues are on the top they don't care if its top 1 or 5 atleast they know that you like their game.

They would have a problem implementing something like condensed resins, because difrent things cost either 40 or 60 resins. Character levelups, and trace materials cost 40 and tacet feilds, bosses, and weekly bosses cost 60. It's just not worth having condensed resins
for the people saying this is the most generous gacha ever theres other gachas out there giving free 5*s left and right, wuwa is just the most generous recent successful gacha, even HI3 has given free 5*s selectors too and hsr with ratio, so limit yourselves to genshin could never because hoyo has indeed done it before lmao let alone other many games, the question is if the free 5* will be good, bad or very niche, thats always the question with free units in games, from my experience most free units tend to suck in gachas unless is a selector but then again they are usually limited to small size outdated picks or standard, i wish we had something like granblue or arknights with those cheap big event selectors that let you pick limited units for 30 bucks, thats a good way to support the game and grab whatever unit you missed, can only buy it once doe and very few recent units may not be present.

I actually more inclined to have an item that can change echo substats rather than echo exp. Maybe we can use our unused echo to change it into some kind of tickets to buy those item or something. In PGR there is some kind of selector to choose stats in memory or something like that. I don't know, its copium.

That's more than enough time for you to not even have to touch the game other than for dailies.. It would be nice to have a 'condensed resin' equivalent but either way this is fine.

The reason that Xiang Liao is going to be free in 1.2 is because it's been heavily speculated that the ps5 release for WuWa is to be in 1.2 and with the fact it'll be half way through the update, gives them time to advertise build up and also have a free 5 Star that also carries famous colors of Sony,
But that's just a theory,
My guess to why Xiangli Yao is free is that Xiangli Yao's char buff gonna be related to material synthesis bonus, which currently no char in the game provides.
Since people would do material synthesis a lot for higher tier materials in the future,
it's very important that everyone would have access to that buff instead of locking it behind special gacha chars
And with his char background, it's safe to assume that's what his buff gonna be

So basically for the waveplate bit, for every 12mins after cap, you get 1 crystal, so you are compensated 1/2 the waveplates you'd otherwise get. Im assuming it'll still cost 40-60 crystals
After 240 u still get stamina at half rate, which becomes capped at 4 days later for another 480 stamina)
From playin you know which game (cough-genshin), it's nice seeing devs givin us way more stuffs. I usually thought that it was too much for Kuro to give us these "gifts" but now, i'm just grateful and keep on acceptin those delicious kuro gifts. Keep it comin. the big plus with the daily is now you just have to spend 180 energy and the daily quest which is 10 minutes max a day, after level 60, you aren't really missing the exp portion of the UL anymore so unless u want the prem currency, you dont really have to log in and play if you dont want.

for the energy storage system. WUWA is similar to HSR, but it still isn't much.
H:SR has 9 min for 1 energy and 18 min for 1 energy in overflow (which is 2400, so takes a month to fill up) + 8 condensed for 40 energy.
WuWa has 6 min for 1 energy and 12 min for 1 energy in overflow (which 480, so that takes 5 days to max all energy).
overal, yes it's an improvement as you don't need to log in at the exact same time everyday to prevent energy cap. But I still think it needs to be longer, like at least a week for overflow only.

They would have a problem implementing something like condensed resins, because difrent things cost either 40 or 60 resins. Character levelups, and trace materials cost 40 and tacet feilds, bosses, and weekly bosses cost 60. It's just not worth having condensed resins
for the people saying this is the most generous gacha ever theres other gachas out there giving free 5*s left and right, wuwa is just the most generous recent successful gacha, even HI3 has given free 5*s selectors too and hsr with ratio, so limit yourselves to genshin could never because hoyo has indeed done it before lmao let alone other many games, the question is if the free 5* will be good, bad or very niche, thats always the question with free units in games, from my experience most free units tend to suck in gachas unless is a selector but then again they are usually limited to small size outdated picks or standard, i wish we had something like granblue or arknights with those cheap big event selectors that let you pick limited units for 30 bucks, thats a good way to support the game and grab whatever unit you missed, can only buy it once doe and very few recent units may not be present.

I actually more inclined to have an item that can change echo substats rather than echo exp. Maybe we can use our unused echo to change it into some kind of tickets to buy those item or something. In PGR there is some kind of selector to choose stats in memory or something like that. I don't know, its copium.

Genshin should not lock on targets automatically, its good for phones but i hate this with mouse and keyboard. It’s the whole reason to play with a mice and keyboard, freedom in the gameplay!

Just to be clear...even if they didn't give him out for free (because of the festive in-game event), more people would have pulled for him than Zhezhi. This dude has the second best moveset and ingame animations out of any character, only topped by Changli (both are still 4* level compared to PGR though🗿)
Also, I've been wondering about this since before 1.1...why are people just assuming that we'll get a livestream for every patch? Kuro only does livestreams on 6 month or yearly patches...you know, like most other game companies, to celebrate a milestone? Just because Hoyo does it every patch doesn't mean every company has to💀
