Be sure to remember this is what happens when Bain Capitol gets a hold of your store and franchise. There were only a few days left and this was a Toys R Us closing liquidation sale. Everything was 70 percent off the entire store. The liquadation of Toys R Us is a true american tragedy. Its affecting the lives of 30000 american workers who will get no severance pay. check the dead geoffrey society, there is also a picture of a Geoffrey mascot thrown in the trash. This is what happens when Toys R Us CEOs get billions and sell off the company, but retail workers go hungry.
This store wasnt on the closing down list for Toys R Us closing. I know I did a Toys R Us RIP video somewhere or maybe saw one. There are also vids saying Toys R Us closing End of an Era, on toys rus news outlets, but they undermine what Bain is doing to kill stores. I did find some LOL surprise and fingerlings in my main toys r us. I am a collector as well so I looked for geoffreys everywhere. I was able to find geoffrey plush, tote bag, baby bib, pops, spiderman special homecoming, and more. but the lego geoffrey tru toy store lego, schleich geoffrey, funko pop golden ticket geoffrey, and funko pop flocked goeffrey toys r us exclusive had to be bought online unfortunately.

Yup. there's alot of crazy and bad stuff happening too. Bad guys who take millions while toys r us cashiers lose jobs with no support. Its VERY sad. Hopefully I can talk about that in great detail too.

It's very sad that their closing. I don't get why people would rather buy online than to physically drive/walk to the store itself.
that isnt why. Its because a big company called Bain capitol bought out toys r us years ago and ran it into the ground. the executives profit billions from this. there was a court file they found about it. Bain capitol got sports authority to shut down as well. It's all very sad.
Bain capitol will keep doing this to more and more companies. Worst part is 30 000 people got fired from toys r us and have been working there for years, some one in my city worked there for 3 decades and now they have no severance pay. toys r us would have still been alive and well if not for what happened.

not everyone was a toys r us fan. I didnt go alot as a kid. I did like 90s geoffrey though, he was cool. but Ive been going recently and i think the store is great.

this big evil company that owns toys r us wont let anyone buy the american stores, so now the only toys r us are in asia and canada. I didnt go when I was small, but I went last few weeks, and its a great store. very nice people. so sad to see it die :(

My toys r us was just like yours. Almost the entire store was gone. They only had bakugan from 2009 and no beyblade. They had star wars and other toys but everything, people already bought.
