Your not missing much, this system is of very poor quality, the person you call using this has a lot of trouble in understanding what your saying, so personally I wouldn't waste my time with it.
On my 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer when I press the menu button it says phone settings is off and also when I turn the dial it says phone is mute . Do you know what to turn the phone on
I did all of these steps and it said pairing complete and then it just doesn't connect properly. It just connects and disconnect continuously. I don't know whats wrong with it. Mine is 2014 lancer. I appreciate if anyone could help me with that

You can also listen to music. You just have to put the radio on BT mode. Then on your phone you can play from anything from your phone itself to any streaming service.
@@juzztinboiii5554 I'm not sure which radio you have, but on mine there is aCD/MP3 button. Hitting it will change to BT, CD, or USB. Once in BT if your device is paired you can play either media that is stored locally on your phone, or you can stream through an app.
Mr. King in my case I guess it’s a problem with the cable connection (I had my interior cleaned and I guess the guys who did it messed up something because sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t). I just can’t find where’s the faulty cables or faulty connector.
@@pali2704 Mine hasn't worked at all, I bought it like this. Only thing faulty right now too. I'm not too worried about it but I'll figure mine out soon enough. Thinking about upgrading the radio system anyways and that will have Bluetooth.

My 2008 had 2 paired phones and you go to setup, pair a device or something then it reads out an option to remove all connected phones

If you haven't figured it out try holding the button down. Otherwise the wiring could be bad.
