5:00 John: 111 ft! Impressive!
These are as common now in L.A. as Ford pickups in Texas. ……Maybach version coming soon! 👍👌
Here in Texas I'm seeing a lot of these. In the Dallas area everyone already has a Tesla they are $%!&*@ everywhere. There are folks who don't want to be seen in a Tesla and I'm starting to see every other brands around here now. Rivian, Mercedes, BMW, and even Lucid are starting to become common. I'm seen two Cadillac Lyriq already and a fair number of F150 Lightnings. If you don't want to stand out and get coal rolled the EQS is perfect, the hicks don't know it's electric.
Put a Nissan or Hyundai badge on it and it would look the part. The design screams budget, not elegance.
It looks like they didn’t even try. It’s just so bla….
I’m with you on this one!👋😂👍it also looks like a Mazda CX-9!
Spot on!
Oh yea you’re right. It does look like they had a tight budget
The instument panel and dash board looks like a bleak low effort alternative to a real dashboard with buttons and analog gauges.
I think Mercedes should consider looking at the Kia EV9 for inspiration. This EQS SUV is more like an electric GLE than a real 3-row EUV based on the GLS.
Nice, elegant, and powerful. A techno beast.
Which video did you just watch?
This felt more commercial than the commercial ad. Don't try so hard guys, that's the American way. I felt no connection to this video. Do it like the rest. Let it flow...
Future Minded Flagship
6200 lbs is wild
Electric cars show that people are basically paying for the badge. anyone can have the same battery pack in the car. so what's left? a simple c class interior with an exaggerated Mercedes price tag.
Over 6 thousand pounds? No wonder it looks like a whale trying to swim like a shark in the slalom.
Is there more luggage space under the hood? Motorweek usually is a more complete program than this....
No, none of the EQ models have storage under the hood. In fact, you can't even open it. It can only be opened and accessed at a dealer for service.
Let’s see how it does in -20 degree temperatures.
Most of the country doesn't even reach that. Also I'm sure it would still have for commutes then.
@@mattwolf7698 bless your heart, sweet summer child.
Brought to you from Preparation H
😂😂 It looks like a Hyundai Veracruz.🤯
Its good until you run out of battery
😂😂 Will it spontaneously combust?😡
Try as I may, I am just not interested in EVs. I'm not anti EV but I am anti 4000lbs or higher cars. I race daily drivers at Laguna Seca and don't want to daily a tank.
I'm not sold on ev vehicles.
Unless batteries are created by the manufacturer, this is just paying for the brand. They are depreciating really hard. Youll see used in the 50s by next year.
Interesting thought.
Too small
Yeah if you drove downhill the whole way. Keep in mind you don’t charge to 100% and should never discharge below 20%, so you really only get about 50% of stated values and I’m sure all those screens eat up the juice.
Everyone can afford $105k. No problem.
👋🤣👉♥️love the comment! Yeah I have 100k laying around the house 🏡
I remember the days when when they was talk about the more affordable 🖖🏽future 🔮 move away from the heavy steal vehicles engine construction to the more affordable world of lighter plastic and computerized construction of cheaper vehicles. I guess this particular world of affordability was a pie in the sky world of western MATRIX marketing for only the actual achievers of the so-called American Dream. Because this particular future looks more like a Nightmare to me nowadays. 🤑105K🏦🤩
Yet another test of a stupidly expensive electric SUV. Hey, $105,000 can still buy a nice car, good to know!
It's a Mercedes, this isn't exactly aimed at everyone...
Blows my mind that Mercedes thinks anyone that can afford the price of this would care about saving money on gas enough to pick this plastic piece of junk over a biturbo
ok now work on it.
Who green lights these Benz EV designs
👋😂👉”off road!” Lol! Sorry John! We love you man! But yeah I would love to see that thing destroyed going off roading!!👋🤣👍 Jesus! Who put that interior together?! High school kid’s!? 😂look how crappy and loose the leather upholstery looks! Yikes 😳 over 100k of wasted Dough!
Alabama built Mercedes. Umm, no thanks.
The average education of the workers far exceeds yours.
They have been building cars for 27 years there so.
average looks
This ain't the future. Stop with this false narrative
What’s its value a year later? 🪫
I keep my cars until they are absolutely worn out anyway so I never even look at the resale value. That said luxury car buyers probably do sell them every few years.
