Panini has ruined the hobby. Having to pay to get redemptions, then wait over 6 months to get them. I've resorted to just collecting old singles and haven't ripped a box since February. I'll wait till they get their stuff together before or if I ever buy again. I do love watching you break the boxes and it has fulfilled my fix for the random great pull. I've even started collecting panini fails off of eBay, i.e. Upside down autos and such just for the fun and to send them the pictures.
popped one of those $50 retail boxes of this stuff from walmart a week ago...got an auto Cooper Kupp numbered to 10 and a handful of #25s....was a decent hit...until I looked at the card list and realized this set is chock full of valueless parallels

Only decent thing about Playoff is the base card(I like it better than Donruss). Otherwise it sucks. And I actually pulled 3 decent autos last year. Inserts suck, parallels suck, and the price is too high. This year I'll go and buy a set of base and call it a day.

Those look about as bad as Contenders. Boring design and not much to them. The Cook patch was the only saving grace, but that many duplicates in one box should not happen.
