It's a real pleasure hearing a song created by someone who's excellent at what they do.
I'm just glad its his own with April in this song. He gets so much credit for his collabs, yet people feel differently on his solo work. I first fell in love with Seven Lions on his solo work. I'm glad I can experience it again from this track and more to come.

The most underrated Seven Lions Song ever
This song is absolutely uplifting and full of energy, which is what I usually look for in melodic dubstep. This song, in my opinion, takes the cake out of all the tracks in the EP. It beats Remember (w/ Au5 & Crystal Skies) ever so slightly. Some might disagree, but this is my view on this song.

You know what I love about your comment? You stumbled into exactly the reason 7L and Ophelia as a whole are at an entirely different level. I've been heavily into the EDM scene for 25 plus years now. Yikes lol. But through that journey I've watched the industry evolve and grow. From the underground rave scene to the commercially driven economic powwow power house of the last few years. There's few artists that really survived the changes let alone thrive during those changes. Tiesto, Van Buuren, Above&beyond are a few that have. They were either able to grow and adapt their styles to what was selling or so good at their preferred sound that the following propelled them (above&beyond prefect example). I started my journey in large part to Tiesto so I've got nothing but joy for all these producers regardless if I was personally a fan of their evolution at times.
What's so fricken dope about 7L & Ophelia is 3 fold IMO. First, the absolutely beautiful execution of their production. Every single track released isn't done so until it's engineered to the best possible level. Rare. Second, the level of talent all these artists hold is mind boggling. Each standing alone is a powerhouse. Under a creative leadership or figure head like 7L is like following a juggernaut into battle. Everyone following in the wake raises their game as to not be eclipsed. The fan following is incredibly loyal because all of these cats touch us on an emotional level, gifting us the opportunity for an experience not just music.
Lastly, most importantly IMO. These talented few aren't rolling in the waves of the EDM scene. What I mean is they aren't making music to simply sell it. They aren't catering to the masses by regurgitating the same party loops or club stompers. Yes, they also excel when they drop epic sound sets but it's not the core of their existence. They aren't just rolling with the ever changing sound and demographics of EDM like so many pioneers previously were almost forced to. Instead, they are the force pushing the tsunami under the surface. They are the wave makers. Small though it might start that wave is undeniably powerful. The more people exposed is like the wave coming into shallower waters. The peaks start to grow and grow. What was just a white cap is now a tidal wave. A tidal wave of epic proportions, breaking over the entire scene. They are driving the evolution of EDM. They are creating a sound that is reverberating through every outstretched tenticle and genre. It's birthing an entirely new sound that combines the emotional aspects of trance and progressive that changed lives, mine for sure, with the deep penatrating bass lines that kept raves bouncing into sunrise. With a dash of dub a sprinkle of house and the ever increasing pool of beautiful vocalists and talented writers, they've ascended into something special. I for one am honored to experience it, even at 37, I'm no less a fan. It's incredible to me to witness artists driving the direction of an industry and not just the commercialism. I've not seen anything like it other than maybe hip-hop of the 90s. Learn from their mistakes and never let the music take second fiddle to the money. Music is the purest reflection of man's divinity... never let it reflect anything less than your deepest soul.
