Sister Act UK Tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In this vlog I go to see Sister Act at the Storyhouse in Chester. I was invited to the shows press night which was held on Monday 24th June, the show started at 7.30pm and the run time for the show is 2hrs 30 mins which includes a 20 minutes interval. For this show I was sat in the Stalls row L seat 19 and the view was Excellent.
Disco diva Deloris’ life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a murder. Placed under protective custody she is hidden in the one place she shouldn’t be found - a convent! Encouraged to help the struggling choir, she helps her fellow sisters find their true voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.
Featuring original music by Tony® and 8-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken (Disney’s Aladdin, Enchanted) and songs inspired by Motown, soul and disco, this heavenly musical is joyous and uplifting in equal measures. A musical sent from above, Sister Act is the brilliant, must-see show which raises the spirits and warms the soul time after time.

I’ve seen sister on tour in Leicester and London at the Dominion and both casts are great I love it it’s my favourite musical
Loved your review Sarah! I saw Sister Act four times, with Lesley Joseph the first two times, Ruth Jones the third and Sue Cleaver the fourth and I’ve absolutely loved it. I think my favourite song is Spread The Love Around (despite me being terrified the first time I saw it when the nuns came out of their sequin habits).
Just out of interest what did you think of Sue Cleaver when you saw the show in Manchester? I saw her in Belfast and I thought she was really good and was actually surprised with her singing. Although when I compare her to Lesley (who was fantastic) and Ruth (who I thought had a lovely singing voice) I did think Sue had the weakest singing voice because she did intend to speak sing most of her lines.
