This woman is horrible. Chas is old enough to know that everything doesn't turn into her little person. It's been years since she wants to control her son, she disliked robert and now liv. She is a woman who harass a young girl. She is the woman who used to punch people so easily that she made a reputation of it, she is the woman who hurt diane and played to the victim. Her character is a bully since so many years, it's so painful to watch her and her vile family getting away of what they deserved. The show sided with her so many time and here, it's just too much. I've read that the story reaches a dramatic peak on Christmas day. I'm guessing on the Christmas episode it's either gonna go two ways. Meena will either die or get sent to prison. I personally don't want Meena to leave yet, but with how it sounds, I doubt she'll make it to the new year.

Its a very interesting storyline, what Chas is doing and being like this, is pretty much cutting off the nose to spite the face. What is ironic is that she was in the exact spot Liv was in almost a decade ago, falsely framed for the murder of Carl when she didnt commit the crime, nobody was pretty much fighting her corner at the time, they all turned against her over the fact she had an affair with Cameron who was with Debbie at the time. When truth comes out about Meena and it get revealed she killed off Ben and everybody else she murdered, there is going to be a huge backlash coming to Chas's and The Dingles way, all because Chas's selfishmess over Aaron wanting to leave the village. Liv might not have killed Ben but she wouldnt have been in this mess if she hadnt had been selfish for Aaron wanting to move on with someone else, and perhaps in a way have a clean slate from everything. Im thinking she regrets it now not taking that chance about leaving the "family" behind.

Meena killed Ben, Liv and Ben had an argument before hand where Ben started filming Liv with his Phone, so she grabbed it off of him. But he accidently scratched her with his thumb or something, causing a slight cut to the neck. She told the police about the fight but that she can't remember much after that because she was drunk. She and Lydia then found Ben's phone with the recording, the police found Liv's dna on Ben and her blood under a fingernail (key point being nail not nails). But not on the murder weapon which Meena left next to Ben's body. Lydia then calls the police then tells them about the phone. So despite Liv's dna being on Ben but not the murder weapon the the video pretty much confirming most of what Liv said about being drunk etc. They have decided she must be guilty and charged her for murder. The fact that Ben deleted ccv before hand to hide the fact he broke into the office to clear his name also has not helped. Despite the video showing Liv to not be wearing any gloves and there being no finger prints, that we are aware off on the cctv of gain the murder weapon. Which some people have said won't have Meena's on either since she was wearing gloves but since Liv clearly wasn't and her's were not on there either you would think they would hold off the murder charge since they know how Ben died via the weapon (a paddle). Or tldr she is in there because of a video of her telling him to stop filming her, dna from a fight earlier that she had already told them about and blood under one of his fingernails. Despite none of her dna or finger prints being on the paddle used to smash his skull in and the video also showing she, Liv didn't have gloves.
There's no reason whatsoever that when the truth comes out that Liv shouldn't tell the Dingles to fuck off when they come groveling for forgiveness, but sadly this is soaps so all will be forgiven in the end, logic and feelings be damned.
This is unfair to liv the Dingles like family to her she's getting accused of something she didn't do do she's ever since the bonfire and the explosion she's broken drinking canal control she's a family more than she needs them she can kill anyone she's always gone up and and she is definitely person when she drinks but she is a good person she made some bad mistakes but we all do Mina gets found out for she did and justice always come to the end I hate you seeing liv
I suggest liv block all contact with the dingles (Except Vinny), once the truth comes out, they are no help to liv at all. anyways if meena does take out her next victim they will soon realize its not liv because its someone in the village doing this , and how can liv commit murder while in prision. I love how Vinny has not given up on liv and will always be by her side no matter what. :)
Chas has become a really irritating character. Since Carl King died, all her storylines have either revolved around suffocating Aaron or shouting at Paddy. Does she forget how she betrayed Debbie's trust, which essentially led to Cameron killing Carl and then her sister Gennie? Perhaps she should look in the mirror before passing judgement.
Once Liv's name is in the clear I don't think any of the Dingles deserve her forgiveness, they see her with a dead body and right away they blame her for murder without any explanation and they toss her away like she's nothing, it's disgusting
I’ve got a mixed opinion on this. Aaron has tried his best with Liv. Liv kept saying she would stop drinking then breaking her promise. She was really nasty to Aaron and was verbally abusive and she also punched Vinny. However, Chas was horrible and totally out of order I would never cut ties between me and a family member who’s like Liv. I feel terribly sorry for Liv and I’m so disappointed that Aaron and Liv ended in bad terms….
I actually can't believe everyone turning on Chas and the Dingles. They have no reason to believe her and all the evidence is pointing to her. The viewers know it's Meena but in all honesty there was a lot of truth in what Chas said too. For such an endearing character she has become poison in the last 12 months
Have you been watching Emmerdale? First, Meena killed Leeana, then Millie's Mother (I've forgotten her name!) and finally Ben, when he found the evidence against Meena. Livs only crime (which it wasn't) was leaving Vinny's dad to die in the barn explosion, there was no way Liv could have got him out before the explosion, he was trapped inside with a broken leg, the gas canister could have exploded at any time, she had to get out as fast as possible to save her life.

It was hard watching this scene. Liv is an alcoholic and needs serious help, even if that means she goes to rehab and has consuelling and Chas is clearly hurting cause Aaron has left, but taking it out on Liv is not healthy. Especially when the truth comes out, Chas will hate herself forever. Though I've never really liked Chas' character the same, after Lucy Pargeter showed her true colours on I'm a celebrity towards Amy Willerton, I kinda saw a bit of that tonight, she throw all her bile and hate onto a younger woman. It really shows though they jump to conclusions fast. The dingles have put 2 and 2 together and got 5 instead of 4.

What is ironic is that she was in the exact spot Liv was in almost a decade ago, falsely framed for the murder of Carl when she didnt commit the crime, nobody was pretty much fighting her corner at the time, they all turned against her over the fact she had an affair with Cameron who was with Debbie at the time.
When truth comes out about Meena and it get revealed she killed off Ben and everybody else she murdered, there is going to be a huge backlash coming to Chas's and The Dingles way, all because Chas's selfishmess over Aaron wanting to leave the village.
Liv might not have killed Ben but she wouldnt have been in this mess if she hadnt had been selfish for Aaron wanting to move on with someone else, and perhaps in a way have a clean slate from everything. Im thinking she regrets it now not taking that chance about leaving the "family" behind.
i'm just looking at all the comments and ppl r hating on Chas! but unless they r 4getting Liv has broken so many promises throughout this yr. nobody is perfect but if Liv hadn't interfered with Ben and Aaron moving 2 Cornwall then she wouldn't have gotten herself drunk and ppl wouldn't think she's capable of killing Ben! Liv brought it all on herself. i agree that Chas from a long stretch isn't an angel and is a hypocrite, but when she had the chance 2 look out 4 Aaron after everything he's been through it was alrdy too late bcz he had 2 get away from everything especially Liv. all she's just doing rn is lashing out but soon when they find out it was Meena that killed Ben they will all be sorry

I think you can understand Chas’s point, but for months Liv has done nothing but drink to the point of not remembering anything or accusing Noah of assault and despite of Aaron or Vinnie trying to get help for her she’s not interested and look what’s happened this I hope will be a wake up call

Another thing, the actress playing Liv is really good at imitating Aaron's way of moving his body and talking. Either, she does it as a way to imply they act similar because they're related, and/or because they've started to hang out a lot since he found her. I think she is an amazing actress!

Meena killed Ben, Liv and Ben had an argument before hand where Ben started filming Liv with his Phone, so she grabbed it off of him. But he accidently scratched her with his thumb or something, causing a slight cut to the neck. She told the police about the fight but that she can't remember much after that because she was drunk. She and Lydia then found Ben's phone with the recording, the police found Liv's dna on Ben and her blood under a fingernail (key point being nail not nails). But not on the murder weapon which Meena left next to Ben's body.
Lydia then calls the police then tells them about the phone. So despite Liv's dna being on Ben but not the murder weapon the the video pretty much confirming most of what Liv said about being drunk etc. They have decided she must be guilty and charged her for murder. The fact that Ben deleted ccv before hand to hide the fact he broke into the office to clear his name also has not helped. Despite the video showing Liv to not be wearing any gloves and there being no finger prints, that we are aware off on the cctv of gain the murder weapon. Which some people have said won't have Meena's on either since she was wearing gloves but since Liv clearly wasn't and her's were not on there either you would think they would hold off the murder charge since they know how Ben died via the weapon (a paddle).
Or tldr she is in there because of a video of her telling him to stop filming her, dna from a fight earlier that she had already told them about and blood under one of his fingernails. Despite none of her dna or finger prints being on the paddle used to smash his skull in and the video also showing she, Liv didn't have gloves.

There's no reason whatsoever that when the truth comes out that Liv shouldn't tell the Dingles to fuck off when they come groveling for forgiveness, but sadly this is soaps so all will be forgiven in the end, logic and feelings be damned.

This is unfair to liv the Dingles like family to her she's getting accused of something she didn't do do she's ever since the bonfire and the explosion she's broken drinking canal control she's a family more than she needs them she can kill anyone she's always gone up and and she is definitely person when she drinks but she is a good person she made some bad mistakes but we all do Mina gets found out for she did and justice always come to the end I hate you seeing liv
I suggest liv block all contact with the dingles (Except Vinny), once the truth comes out, they are no help to liv at all.
anyways if meena does take out her next victim they will soon realize its not liv because its someone in the village doing this , and how can liv commit murder while in prision.

Chas has become a really irritating character. Since Carl King died, all her storylines have either revolved around suffocating Aaron or shouting at Paddy. Does she forget how she betrayed Debbie's trust, which essentially led to Cameron killing Carl and then her sister Gennie? Perhaps she should look in the mirror before passing judgement.
Once Liv's name is in the clear I don't think any of the Dingles deserve her forgiveness, they see her with a dead body and right away they blame her for murder without any explanation and they toss her away like she's nothing, it's disgusting
I’ve got a mixed opinion on this. Aaron has tried his best with Liv. Liv kept saying she would stop drinking then breaking her promise. She was really nasty to Aaron and was verbally abusive and she also punched Vinny. However, Chas was horrible and totally out of order I would never cut ties between me and a family member who’s like Liv. I feel terribly sorry for Liv and I’m so disappointed that Aaron and Liv ended in bad terms….

I actually can't believe everyone turning on Chas and the Dingles. They have no reason to believe her and all the evidence is pointing to her. The viewers know it's Meena but in all honesty there was a lot of truth in what Chas said too. For such an endearing character she has become poison in the last 12 months

Have you been watching Emmerdale? First, Meena killed Leeana, then Millie's Mother (I've forgotten her name!) and finally Ben, when he found the evidence against Meena. Livs only crime (which it wasn't) was leaving Vinny's dad to die in the barn explosion, there was no way Liv could have got him out before the explosion, he was trapped inside with a broken leg, the gas canister could have exploded at any time, she had to get out as fast as possible to save her life.

@@andrewaustin5678 I have, I saw Liv punch Vinny and imply that Noah raped her when she battered him, attack Ben and attempt to throw Aaron out of their house. Like I said we know she didn't do it but she has form of violence when she is drunk and blacked out so I can't blame people for thinking the worst.

I love this side of Chaz even though Liv didn't kill Ben, it's about time she gets a wake up call.
It was hard watching this scene. Liv is an alcoholic and needs serious help, even if that means she goes to rehab and has consuelling and Chas is clearly hurting cause Aaron has left, but taking it out on Liv is not healthy. Especially when the truth comes out, Chas will hate herself forever.
Though I've never really liked Chas' character the same, after Lucy Pargeter showed her true colours on I'm a celebrity towards Amy Willerton, I kinda saw a bit of that tonight, she throw all her bile and hate onto a younger woman. It really shows though they jump to conclusions fast. The dingles have put 2 and 2 together and got 5 instead of 4.

Once it comes out that Liv didn’t murder Ben then yes an apology will be rightly owed. BUT Liv is an addict and a murder has been committed and she has got a form when she has been drinking and unless you have lived with an addict you do come to this point with them. Plus you never come between a mother and her child Chas was well within her right to do this and this may very well be the wake up call Liv needs
