Jesus, I wish I had the courage to buy shirts from ebay. I always fear that the shirt will turn out to be fake
Thankfully, Ebay offers buyer protection so as long as you ask and get a definite answer of "yes this is original" you should be covered
Can make a video on this if people want :)
Always ask for more photos mate, that’s the way I’ve done it and I do it for sizing also. I ask for pictures of both sizing labels and product tags. If they give you a funny answer or say “I don’t have anymore photos” then leave it
Homework, Homework, Homework
The only fakes/counterfeits in my collection are ones that I intentionally bought (because I’m a cheap bastard) or charity shop purchases where I couldn’t do the research and took a chance.
When hunting for a specific shirt on eBay, I look at the legitimate selling sites and scrutinize all the pictures for the finest details. Trim details, tags, fabric, number fonts (if used), etc. and then compare between sites. Only then do I go to eBay, Poshmart, or other sites. I try to stay away from sellers in Asia unless I’m looking for a counterfeit when the original isn’t available. Those are placeholders and the hanger is labeled so I can destroy it if I find an original ( I won’t put a fake back into the market).
I also read the sellers ratings and place of origin to decide if they’re worth the risk of doing business with.

When lockdown started and my 4 year old was isolated for months on end I thought, when it's over I'm going to start my own CZcams channel, travelling stadiums around the UK and Europe with my son documenting it because life is too short and we miss it when it's gone, not knowing you've already done a away day channel. Now I got to name it something else, amazing channel, amazing stuff 👍🏻👍🏻

Just wanted to say thanks very much for the content man, it is absolutely fantastic seeing what you're able to get on your Bargain Hunts! Personally I am a Liverpool fan myself however have grown to appreciate some pretty decent designs on other team shirts recently over the years, I recently managed to acquire a Gremio 3rd Away shirt from M&M Direct for £20, I certainly have no regrets doing this because the design on it is truly fantastic and Umbro did a really good job with the design, because of this I also decided to acquire a further two Gremio Away shirts that were available along with a Chapecoense Home Shirt also from M&M Direct for a total of £46 roughly, last year also managed to obtain a Inter Milan 11/12 Home Shirt Brand New from Classic Football Shirts for £25 along with a Liverpool 01/02 Classic Reebok Shirt from a British Heart Foundation shop for £15
Thanks again man for your content keep it up! When this Lockdown is over I will be going on the hunt to see if any Bargains maybe available to snap up from the shops, Stay Safe man and do Take Care 😊

They sold out pretty quickly on a AC Milan home shirt and a Retro Gremio Copa Libertadores Home Shirt as well so am a bit gutted about that.
On the plus side though I managed to get a Schalke 04 home shirt from M&M Direct for only £11.99 so wasn't going to say no to that. There was also a seller on eBay who is selling quite a few Adidas Aberdeen 15/16 long sleeve shirts, price of that was only £7.50 so decided to take a punt at it even if possibly fake, personally I don't think it will be because the seller's feedback suggests they are reliable.
I also acquired a brand new Adidas Home Shirt of my Hometown team (Watford), seller on eBay wanted £35 for it however I made him an offer of £20 and he surprisingly took it! It even has the Number 37 on the back and the player's name of Pereyra. And to top it off I managed to get the latest Liverpool 3rd Away shirt from someone on Facebook for £20, I am a little skeptical because have a feeling it maybe a fake even with it having tags on, however the seller is local so my hopes slightly raised there 😁
Overall seeing your content has definitely played a hand in me getting a few shirts here and there haha, not going crazy with the expensive shirts though, if it the right price though then am definitely going for them and will build up a nice little collection.

Being a Hammer, I’ve got loads of West Ham shirts, obviously.
But around 93 or 94, I bought the yellow & green as well as the black Man Utd kits, sadly I gave them away.
I also bought the QPR kit sponsored by Classic FM and the yellow striped “No Sponsor “Sheff Wed top.
I checked out their current values, which are surprisingly high, Im not sure I can bring myself to sell them though.

@Bair - Salvation Army, Goodwill, and Savers are my go to spots in my area. Most of what you’ll find there will be fakes, especially the South American shirts. But every now and then I’ve gotten lucky. I’ve found real shirts from Columbia, Ireland, and Ipswich Town up here in New England. Not to mention all the local American sports team gear that can be found.
