their grasp of all music genres for their age is astounding. harmonies of angels. for someone like myself who has seen hundreds of shows since 1973 these girls could fit in any decade. in the 70's they would have been on every rock magazine cover selling out arenas everywhere.
They are the best thing to happen to music in a long, long time. Them, and Phoebe Bridgers.
They just keep getting better and better. Never fail to deliver. They are honest, sing beautifully
(and normal), and embrace the coolest covers. True SONG fans themselves,
and don't have ego's. LOVE them.

there are others also making great contemporary music eg also from 2018 Innocence Mission (Play "green bus"), Florence and the machine (2018) play "big God", LP (2017) Play "lost on you" , and my fav contemporary artist = Low Play "amethyst" - poignant and delicate but beautiful
These gals are more pure Americana than almost all American country artists.
... and possibly more 'country' then a lot of what passes for country these days.
Most Nashville country artists are just Beyonce or Bieber in cowboy hats.
I would consider their music more as folk rock - like Buffalo Springfield, CSNY or Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Linda Ronstadt - rather than country.
watched so many of their performances on youtube recently and not even one has been slightly off they are so good live!
"Fireworks" is an outstanding song.. Should be a single!

Steel player is Melvin Duffy and he is damn good he converted a guy (me) who couldn't stand steel guitar into a wholesale fanatic, if you want to hear how wildly talented he is, listen to FAK's Wolf on the Glastonbury Concert and see a Steel guitar player gone wild!!!

Just saw them in DC on Friday. I'm 50 yo and I relate to their music- it's ageless music is. And I love the protest song 9:32. As a victim myself that song really spoke to me, and I'm SO GLAD that these women put that song out there.

Nice to hear Klara showcase some solistic guitar skills in Crazy on you! Also, adding Steve Moore to the backing band has made their performances even better (for two reasons - Steve’s skills and that Johanna looks 10x cooler with a bass guitar...)

Yes you can see she is out of her comfort zone there but played the main components of that Nancy Heart opening part really well just the same. I hope they cover more Heart songs, they arranged that one so well to suit their strengths.

Morrisopolous I listen to this but I also listen to “twerking, nonsense lyric pop” music. You can appreciate this music without degrading pop music to twerking and nonsense. Pop is a wide range of music and there’s quite a bit of it that has meaning as well. If you don’t know anything about a genre keep your opinion to yourself. Thanks.
