The Intercontinental Football Cup, also known as the Intercontinental Cup, European/South American Cup or Toyota Cup, was an annual football tournament played between 1960 and 2004. It brought together the champions of the UEFA Champions League, representing Europe, and of the Copa Libertadores da América, representing South America.
The tournament was considered the biggest intercontinental club title at the time, crowning the "club world champion", before the creation of the FIFA Club World Cup in 2000.
