Not too surprising. You would expect that Jordan was once a very different person before he became the canonized, white washed global commercial product that he is now. I remember in one of his previous books he said he put a tribal theme in the design of one of the Air Jordans as a nod to his African heritage. Which surprised me since Jordan has always appeared to avoid ever acknowledging his own Blackness in any way.
Oh well. Whatever Jordan's views as a kid, ironically it seems that he overcame his "racism" by hunting for young White girls at the club every week.
