    「麻の葉」ですか・・すごい技術ですね。・・私、釣り好きです。シーズンオフの今、木工に取り組んでます。エサ箱とか、小物ですが。まず、材料を90度に切り出すことすらできません。

      ありがとうございます。DIYの手鋸で材料を正確に90度に切り出す事はまず不可能だと思います。実は本職でもかなりの難易度ですよ。そこで、厚みのある定規を自作なさって、それに鋸を当てて切り出すと、だいたい上手くいくと思います。参考になさってください。

      ありがとうございます。最終的には接着剤で完全固定するのですが、接着剤無しでも外れないように作るのがキモです。

    How do you stop the hand plane from cutting into the jig bevel face?

    • @pisspissgoo
      @pisspissgoo  Před 6 lety

      It is good to shave a little so that the cutting edge does not hit the jig.

      Thank you for your reply. I'm still unsure how I could use the jig to guide my cut angle and not cut the jig at the same time.

      The jig is made from a hardwood and the end grain is very tough. Moreover, when planing the little kumiko, you use a light touch, just enough to cut the soft wood but not enough to mar the face of the jig. Very similar to a razor when you shave. The hair is cot but not the skin. Mark

      thank you for your comment.
      In my case, I just dropped the tip of the jig to a slightly larger angle.
      Then, it can not be scraped beyond that angle. In other words, it means that the angle comes out when it can not be scraped.
      However, a technique is required.

    You did not show how you cut the notches.

      thank you for your comment.
      I'm sorry I did not show a notch.
      However, it is important to make a work by trial and error on your own. Thank you.
