honestly it’s not that bad after a while. you just gotta play really slow and careful.
Best thing to do is get the gun and get the Gun Parry, I can say for sure that the Gun Parry is easier to use than the regular parry and is significantly better as it staggers them for a second longer, don't sound like much BUT it means so much against the Oggdos.
He really needs the passive force regen ability. Now that he has the force jump-dash, if he gets the perk from zee, and makes sure to play carefully, he’ll be just fine.
@Nytellem try it on PC with clipping and frame drops. Stuff of nightmares
The crossguard and double bladed stance is becoming one of my go to stance combos. Pretty OP when both maxed out.

Doble is super fun, but dual is meta for sure, it’s the best against bosses at least.

@jionmionskwisgaar1476 Same, though I mostly stuck with those two because they were the "new guys." I'm more of a, "solid defense, hit them HARD when their guard is down" kinda guy, but I found the cross guard to be too slow for bosses. If I broke their guard via parries, they were often able to get away before my counter attack hit. And it sucks when you're fighting multiple melee enemies.
Afterwards, I found I love the single blade's dash attack, especially when it's used as a gap closer against flying enemies.
The hunter pants normally have that little “satchel”, it’s just the jacket your wearing takes away that satchel, so maybe try out the bomber jacket with some different pants and you’ll like it more.

He calls her that because firstly, he’s dyslexic, and that’s what he originally called her until he found out, and secondly, every time we here that name from him, it breaks immersion, like a fourth wall break, and makes me laugh. But at the end of the day, he’s still him, and you’re still you.

Btw if you haven’t noticed different lightsaber colors have different sounds to them, i was using purple for a while and switched to orange. You can also tell with white too and pink, they all sound different. Blue and green sound similar tho.

I’m a big fan of the double blade saber, I like use it for almost every situation. I like to switch to dual blades bc you can just spam and cancel with block
Me too just how cal uses it in this game is just so smooth I swear. And the abilities are fun as well
It’s 200% the most versatile for every situation. That’s how I defeated the Toad. I spammed the Darth Maul like spin after two Parry on the bites.
Seems to be the easiest to parry with. Once you get the multi reflect its beast for alot of doids.
Might be a hot take but I love the mantis crew In this game a lot more than I do the ghost crew from rebels

Exactly. It was hard to get into rebels because it felt too campy as it’s usual tone then dips into serious notes here and there
I only just recently watched Rebels to prepare for Ashoka, Didn’t want the conversations between Ashoka and Hera/Sabine to be over my head.
With that being said I sort of agree although it’s not as close a crew as that of the Ghost, Cal only just reunited with Greez, Merrin and Cere not like they’ve been together constantly on the Mantis fighting the empire together like the Ghost crew so I would argue they’re not even a ‘crew’ in the same sense. Cere never stepped foot on the Mantis for years at the time of her death. Greez had given the ship to Cal. Merrin also left to go find herself so not so much a crew in the same way I would say.

@@H2XBD I know these are games and that the powerlevel always appears to be higher due to gameplay reasons.
But SINCE this is canon we should still acknowledge that Cal is profficient in not just one lightsaber form, but several. Being able to dual wield, use dubble blade AND switcg between them is very impressive. As a duelist I'd say he is incredibly skilled.
Cere > Ahsoka > Cal.
Jedi Survivor Spoilers:
Cere almost defeated Vader, Ahsoka did well but there wasn't really a moment of "damn is she winning". Cal is obviously much stronger in Survivor than FO, but given how much stronger Cere was portrayed as being in both gameplay and cutscenes, he's clearly not close to her as a strong Jedi Master and would still lose to Vader way harder than Ahsoka did.

Man they got some craaaazzzyy fun force spaces that are actually a lil challenging, so fun to do parkour 1's the enemy 1's can get tough.
Only fight I wanna see is a modernized Luke vs Vader that is longer and have some force unleashed type energy

I personally run Staff Saber Stance with the Blaster, good in groups and good for raining down damage like a thunderstorm from upclose and from a distance.
Blaster in general can be really damn cheese if used properly

Episode 7 was eh. Also you can make the cross guard red in New game plus. There's also a party mode saber where every time you swing it in changes color
7 was dogshit and absolutely destroys the world building and nearly everything the OT did, also fucks up several OG characters and has a plot filled with mind bogglingly huge contrivances happening constantly, all with a main character who's excessively talented at everything while having maybe 2 character traits, a side character who fake dies in a literally impossible way, and another side character who's personality makes zero sense, all with the head of the plot being a map that's existence is nonsense

Holding X with the cross guard when you unlock it is the best because it closes the gap really well and is high damage
Also the plant they destroyed in the end of rogue one was scarif, they destroyed Jedha earlier in the movie to test out the Death Star

Crossguard is my favourite stance, only downside is the slow swings, but it does the most damage than any other stance.

If you ever go back to fight the rancor you'll see bones surrounding the area you fight him. Force push the bones when he looks at you and it'll get lodge in his mouth and stun lock him.
