I have super curly hair when it's wet or when I get out of the shower. However I'm able to blow dry it straight with maybe some very slight, very mild wave. Since my hair is also long it still takes me forever -like 2 hrs... to go over it with a flat iron. I'll definitely have to try this after my next shower. Thanks for the tip. ❤️

I bought a flat iron recently for the first time because I got bored from my curls (2c 3a curls) and I straightened my hair few times and it was taking me more than a hour and I wasn't satisfied at all and I was really dissappointed and was about to give up from the straightening forever because even cgm takes less time than straightening. Then I saw this video, I was sceptic little bit, but I wanted to try. It really took me 5 minutes and results were even better than before. ive been wanting to find ways to straighten my hair for school (if it ever starts again) and i tried this and it only rlly took 3 min but when i tried blow drying it then straighten it, it took around 7 min for me so ya thx, this is amazing.

Omg! Here I am 2 years later watching this video in 2020. Never thought to straighten my hair like this. I straighten my hair in 5 minutes. it’s not really thick but long. I developed Arthritis in my hands so I hardly straighten it cus my hands hurt! Thanks so Much!

How I do it is I section first the hair that’s under all the rest and start with that and then once that’s done you take that hair u just straightened and you put it back into a ponytail. Then you section out another layer leaving only your crown tied un on the top off your head. Then you straight that section and take out the ponytail of the first layer and combine all your straightened hair into a bigger ponytail. then you do your last section and do the same, once your done take out your ponytail and then ur done!
This normally only takes about 5 minutes, but it depends on how much hair you have, how thick it is, and how curly it is. (If you have a lot of thick hair you may need to have more sections, and if you have thinner hair than do bigger ones!) I have EXTREMELY Thick hair and I have a lot of it, my hair is not curly but it does get frizzy. This is a great tip for school because I know a lot of kids need to wake up early enough and then even earlier to do their hair. Hopefully someone finds this useful, again it all depends on your hair type, but I would recommend trying it out! I hope this helps someone sleep in a little longer. 😉

My hair is kinda like yours but maybe a little thicker and some natural waves (not really curls) and I HATE showers because it's such a pain in the A* to deal with the hair but I don't look good with short hair. The struggle is real. I ain't got time to mess with my hair every day lol ... these are great tips tho I will try them!

Omy thank you I had to go school today and I needed to have straight hair and I have a curly hair and it did work (not totally) then at the end you can straighten it to tame it and yeh my hair went straight only took me 4 or 6 minutes cause of curly hair.

I have very frizzy thick poofy hair and it takes me an hour to straighten it and I'm going to try this rn:D

Sorry but I didn’t make a video for curly hair. I made a video for those who already straighten there hair & gave tips to do it faster. As you can see I don’t have curly hair so I can’t speak for ppl who have that. This is for ppl who straighten their hair already. BUT I wouldn’t suggest straightening naturally curly hair as it damages the curls and more. I think you’re looking for “permanent hair straightening perm” if you’re trying to straighten curls then you’re problem will be solved. 🤍🤍
