Fun Fact: One of the core reasons why both songs feel so familiar and fit so well is because Thomas Bangalter was the creative guidance for both tracks. On a Modjo documentary about the track, they mention that Thomas suggested them the 'Soup For One'' sample to use and they used it to create 'Lady'. Stardust was a one-time band consisting Thomas, Alan Braxe and Benjamin Diamond, it has a lot of Daft Punk's early sound due to Thomas.
Not only that but it is French house, so a lot of it is very cookie cutter.
Bangalter was more than creative guidance on Music sounds better with you, as he produced the track with Alan Braxe, with Benjamin Diamond on the vocals. Another fun fact: Bangalter and Braxe were apparently offered more than a million pounds by Virgin records to produce a Stardust album, but they turned it down.
