The thing is, ambience is a part of every musical genre and especially in deep electronic music.
I make dance and garage but these videos really teach and inspire me to be more creative in one of the most important aspects of music.
I love these videos and lessons, truly thankful to be able to learn from such an inspiring and thoughtful teacher.
My day has been filled with s1gns (see what I did there?) to go back to the simple and focus on the beauty of simplicity. With the sheer amount of sounds possible with my modern software set up, it’s easy to get lost in the options. Thank you for this great video reminding us that simple, yet carefully chosen sounds and effects can transform into the gorgeous ambient soundscapes we all strive for. Much love!
Awesome tutorial. Love your passion in making this music.
Stumbled across your channel recently and really inspired by your process for sequencing pads in this tutorial. Putting into practice asap in my atmospheric jungle & dnb projects ❤
I've been following your channel for a month now and I'm amazed at how much I've learned from your tutorials.
You radiate the passion for music and best of all, you share your knowledge with others, which makes you a wonderful person.
I don't take this for granted and would like to thank you very much for the knowledge I have been able to gain from you! 🙏
Thanks so much for the tips esp. the sequencer/arp thru a pad trick. it's like putting down a wash on canvas before you start painting the subject. Gives a great starting point and initial inspiration. Thanks also for the "pep" talk and your sound design wisdom. anything IS possible!
THanks Chris!
This is simply Awesome....
That thumbnail looks like Zoolander, fun stuff though :)
YAY!! I am super excited about this video!!! I am going to follow all your tips from the start until the end. Thanks!!
Dude, i've only just found your channel but it's fast becoming my favourite. It's the happiness you genuinely get when making music that makes me smile every time. You make it look too easy though haha. Kudos my man :) Much love to ya
Thanks for your videos . There are very helpful and iperation for creating Ambient Music
i'm pretty good at coming up with sounds, do you have more videos on arrangement pls? i think i'm going to get Stepic today. that looks so useful from this one and your other video
2nd comment! I just had a lush bath! Now for the ambient walk-through...nice! 🥰
Outstanding. What a powerful and transcendent sound. Beautiful.
Outstanding Chris!! Not gonna lie, but I only got through 9 minutes. I mean as soon as I saw the sequence trick for pads using Catalyst, I got stuck for the last 3 hours at my workstation!!
Already working on a track, so I'll have to watch the rest of this later!!
Another awesome tutorial, Chris. This one was nice and deep. Loved how you used Catalyst and appreciated your using Hive, Vital, and Serum all in one walkthrough.
Great stuff Chris!
Well, another great vid !
Thanks for released it !
Hype! Can't wait to get stuck into this vid later, thanks dude :D
You are way too awesome! ❤
Hive is a great synth for just about everything!
Sry i fell asleep I love your channel BtW
M4L sequencer 'MDD SnAkE' has similar capabilities as catalyst. maybe not as complex but is free.
Is it just me, or is the Vital sequence pluck a little ahead? EDIT: never mind, it just needed to be sent to the delay.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
nice, too bad i work dawless, only mpc and synth....
the MPC is basically a DAW ;)
Your face in your thumbnails doesn't fit the narrative or the topic most of the time. I think you're just in love with your mug in the thumbnail, no matter what...
