- Jim Bowen presents a very special edition of Bullseye for the 1983 Central Television Christmas tape. Not sure if this is the complete version, the sudden edits are as it is on the tape, not done by me.

the opening is the funniest - "Good evening and welcome to fucking bullseye" and "Are you gay?" "Gay? I'm not even fucking happy".

this is one of the funniest things i've seen for a long time - just wish that tv companies would do this sort of thing now...

Bullseye was produced in the then new Central TV Nottingham studios (now a campus of the university). The "full of Eastern promise" Turkish Delight advert music refers to the then new East Midlands region of Central TV.

It was more or less trivia, where contestants answered a set number of questions in various categories. It could've gone by a number of names, since the "Bullseye" wasn't significant to the game like the UK version. It was simply a gimmick to help the game move along.
i'm traumatised.
Anyway, nice clip. I have to ask, have any of you in the U.K. seen OUR version of Bullseye? It's not a dart-based quiz, but it is a classic quiz that was cutting edge for the early 1980's.

If you are using the 'End of Part One' caption as basis for your 'more than one part' theory than I am afraid it is my sad duty to report that you are mistaken. You see, the caption you have noticed is only referring to the end of that part of the Christmas tape, not the end of that part of Bullseye. I'm sorry that you had to find out this way.
