Hello Everyone, I would like to apologize to you all, I neglected to take into account some people's learning methods and I did set my exposure too high on accident. When you draw the lines, put the paper on a soft surface and use a pencil or pen to press down hard and make an indentation. That'll make it infinitely easier to fold.

After many failed attempts, I finally made it and it turned out surprisingly well!!
Btw I found it easier to use a ruler to fold along on the diamond step. Hope this helps 😁

Instructions unclear, I broke my scissors
For y'all saying the crumpling part was difficult(for the diamond)- there's a way 'around' it
1. Draw the diamond lines with a pencil(NOT FREEHAND SJDHKEJ)
2. Get a ruler
3. Put the ruler on the line
4. Lift up the paper and trace the ruler outline(from the other side)(paper has top side n side on the desk so the side facing down) with the sharp tip(don't actually draw, just trace the outline- b/c you can feel it, yes? So you can crease it from the pressure)
that way ya folds are nice and precise and are already there so you don't have to 'refold' or crumple anything or whatever

I had so much confidence before I started that slowly started to go away when I began folding I even cried it got very complicated at least for me who else felt this way

This shape is actually called a hexaflexagon. 😊
When I tried to exercise it, it just crumpled on me
How does ur flexagon line up perfectly when u fold it without drawing lines with a ruler
I use a ruler and my flexagon looks like trash
The important part is that all the angled folds go precisely through the intersection points on the grid of squares. The lines don't matter too much, so long as you take the time to ensure that each crease is done precisely and accurately. I hope this helps!

if you guys are struggling for the diamond part, take the middle fold and fold it inside out so it look like half of the paper, next grab a pencil and make a dot in the middle and make it touch all four corners. then go to the left or right in the middle but on the side, and mark that and make a slanted line to the fold in the middle. then for the opposite side. then do the same hing for the blank side. and fold all the lines you drew!

I’ve really improved in origami! Just a few years ago, I could barely make a 2D goldfish, but now I’m able to make this! If you can’t make it, don’t get mad or say it doesn’t work, instead work on your skills by doing things more easy, after a while you’ll be a master!

I did everything correctly. I folded the exact creases, drew the exact lines, Beat the diamond part first try, and made a flexagon! BUT.... before the last step I started doing it by myself, without the insructions, and I already found the shape of the flexagon, and it only moved back and forth. It didn't budge so I forced it to turn. It turned, but crumpling the whole thing.. I finally watched the last step and they said to roll the flexagon slowly trying not to crumple it... welp… rip flexa-fail 2018-2018 ;-;
