Congrats brother. The pride in the eyes and talk of a Jeeper is something else. Fools those who compare this Jeep with a Creta or a Seltos or even the Hector.
Agreed itâs the âlegendary â
Bro. I have watched many Compass review videos of famous auto blogger what nobody have told the features shown by you. super
Thank you Pushkar, I am just trying to share my experience here with all đđŒ
Superb.
Presentation.
Kya choice hai.
Wonderful.
I like it.

Hey bro đđŒ. How is the suspension..?? Heard itâs good for highway, no one talks about city roads. Is it suited for city driving also?? (the roads with more speed breakers, bumps & potholes)
Hi Vignesh , thank you for reaching out .
The suspension are independent setup & are on harder side due to dampening. But on slow speeds over multiple potholes you will feel them .
Speed breaker & a bumps there behave better than a normal car & no jumping feel .
I just felt : on too much undulations roads surface( where all 4 tyres are on different heights), there is lot of body roll at slow crawling speed .
Thank you brother.keep going loved it

Hi, I almost bought the same colour and variant however in my long test drive I found the driver seat to be too firm and not at all comfortable, I doubt how comfortable they are for you especially for long drives?
Agreed the driving seat is lumbar support is on hard side . But then this car does have Automatic adjustment of Lumbar support for you lower backbone to mid .
Initially after I bought , my body took time to adjust to seat đș. But then I could find the sweet spot of seat adjustment to make me comfortable. I have seen lot of JEEP owners do put extra cushions or support for back rest .
Itâs a subjective matter from person to person .
I would say their seats are not the softest one âđ», but quality of leather & finish is best
Thatâs what my friend told me when I first told her about this car. I thought she was exaggerating but no đ
I find the 8way support fantastic for long drives and done 1800 kms in 2 days
Not sure if one in question is manual or auto adjustment but I'll suggest y'all looking for back and under support in memory foam form or gel based, that are fantastic for long runs!
What do you think about the stop and start feature that comes with the car? How's it been going for you?
I heard that it wears out your starter. Let me know please.
Itâs a very annoying feature. Which needs to be get rid of . The time delay for stop-start is 2-3 sec when car comes to standstill . I usually have made a habit of turning the feature off when I get into the car .
Wears out starter , I have not noticed this .
@@vikasshetty1987 I bought mine last week and it came with the feature disabled already, I brought it to the dealership today and asked them to turn it on, do you think they will disable it again if i don't like it?
How did they disable it ? Any idea đĄ
@@vikasshetty1987 there is a switch under the screen the yellow one
I want to disable permanently !!
Every time u start the car , the auto stop feature gets activated . Which is annoying every time
How is the air conditioning bro? I have heard if car is parked under sunlight for few mins AC takes hell lot of time.
The windshield & windows have special UV reflectors which is built into the Glass itself .
Secondly : A/c is dual zone automotive climat control.
Jeep is not a huge car : itâs a medium SUV . It has a climate control automotive AC in top variants . If you run the AC on auto mode or low temperatures, during severe summers ; you shouldnât face any trouble at all .
I have not noticed anything wired with relates to AC . Itâs optimal but not mind blowing .
You even have a Panoramic sunroof to quickly decimate hot đ„” air from car with one touch
Need an advise - should I chose Jeep diesel or petrol if my running is less - @ 5000 per year
No doubt go for diesel .
Better resale , better mileage , better pickup & more torque
I also bought a 2021 Jeep Sport DDCT petrol & its an awesome car.
Congratulations

planning to buy compass but i am getting confused whether to for petrol automatic or diesel mannual ..
intrested in limited variant. Do you think automatic can pull off in hill climb ???
All automatic have triptronic mode ( manual ) . The traction control of all jeep variants works like a charm , ensuring all wheels have enough traction to climb . The all terrain tyres are top of the line Bridgestone for limited variants and above . Mileage will be your area to decide ?? Petrol with 7-8mileage in city or diesel with 10-12 kmpl in city
AC vents are integrated which is good to see etc. But have heard that the AC cooling is below par, and not good for peak Indian summers. To explain better, in other cars a setting of 22-23 is good enough to chill those cars, but in JC you have to lower the temp to 18-19 to cool effectively. Your comments?
I think , the vents in Jeep Compass đ§ is bit too narrow causing slower cooling when you get into the car on a hot summer . Also the amount of soft touch materials absorbs lot of heat . We need to also note compressors of all car manufacturers is different specs when it comes to Petrol & diesel cars & length of car . Will have to check the difference in tech figures .
Great choice
Hello I am planning to book same variant & same color but everyone I know insisting me to book limited diesel (for Mileage and stuffs), Since I don't have any experience with diesel I am leaning on this model.
How is experience so far have you faced any issues? Many owners reporting issues like Cabin Noise, Disk Creaks, Engine Auto off, Wireless connectivity and Air Con Issues! But all these are from Diesel models. I don't see any issues reported online for 2021 petrol model.
Interiors are same for Petrol / diesel .
Petrol mileage in city with traffic is very low 6-7kmpl . But on highways with Petrol engine auto , you can achieve 13-15kmpl too . I have done it .
But if you are driving Daily , then diesel is what u shud buy. Diesel auto is only with 4x4 options . So check ur options .
Petrol auto doesnât have any problem so far , completed 1 yr now .
Interiorđ„đ„đ„
How much that cost on road in delhi pls let me know .....
Hey man I just want to know is the car worth buying? Actually I'm confused with Harrier! Any suggestions would be grateful!!
If you money & drive city daily regularly & have parking crunch around , then go for JEEP diesel only .
Else go for xuv500 top model
What about Petrol Limited DCT option .. is to
Good to go with ?
This is Petrol Limited DCT buddy which I have reviewed
What about digital instrument cluster? Is it not available in 1.4 petrol automatic?
Completed digital animated cluster / MID is only for S - variant .
How much it costs you for insurance? Which one do you have? Planning to buy the same limited petrol.
Car dealers are smart : they will tell you 3 year insurance is part of the complete package for 1.2 lakh . Then when u bargain. , they will say we are giving you 60k discount . But donât fall prey . Actually they are giving you 1 year comprehensive & next 2 year only third party .
You can buy the same abov insurance from outside too for 45k
Awesome
Congrats beautiful car

They should have change with good auto gear box and put 1.8 ltr engine for automatic version.

I am driving Jeep compass 2018 Diesel, and I know that this car not rides it glides, what a suspension, what a built quality, what a sound quality, and I am getting 15 KMPL in 100% city, 17.8 KMPL in City+Highway and 20.3 on highways and with a very reasonable (70-90 KMPH) speed on highways I also got 29 KMPL on highways.
You have the 1.6 litre engine ?
Bro how can u get such kmpl plzz say me I will also drive like u I m getting 13 to 15 kmpl bro
Hi Anas, on highway long journeys . Keep the gear ratios high & RPM lowest possible to attain a speed of 80-100kph. You will surely get 18kmpl if your driving this way for more than 1-2 hour journey
Congrats Bro. I too like Petrol version.
Mileage seems the only issue. Do you see any improvement in 2021 version?
How much mileage are you getting under normal driving conditions?
Petrol mileage in start stop traffic is very poor I must say : I am getting only 7kmpl . But on highways non-stop drive for an hour with 80km-100kmhr the mileage just goes above 15kmpl is what I noticed . I brought this car more to take outside Mumbai on long trips .
But yes mileage is dismal in heavy traffic prone cities 6-7kmpl with Air condition. But the mileage calculated by JEEP system is based on an average of per Hour . So if you are driving real short intervals less than hour , the car shows very poor average by its internal measures & criteria .
@@vikasshetty1987 Thanks Bro. That is reasonable considering the power delivery and weight of the vehicle. Happy and safe driving :)
Any idea whether Jeep India has plans to bring the new 1.3L petrol engine which is already available abroad ?
The current engines 1.4 Petrol ddct is manufactured in China and sourced in. Hence the higher price of the JEEP compass đ§
Getting one more engine 1.3 doesnât sound cost effective for JEEP . May be the renegade or small version of JEEP variant may have . Right now , I donât think 1.3 is coming in india for next 2 yrs
@@vikasshetty1987 Hi. I am considering the Limited petrol automatic 4x2 variant. How is the ride quality, handling and driving dynamics? How about fuel consumption/mileage of this variant? Since my yearly average is around 3500-4000 kms, considering petrol. How about Maintenance/Service cost? Please advice.
Mileage is 6-7kmpl in city traffic where average speed is below 25km/hr
On highway for Long distance : it gives 11-12kmpl easily for speed above 80kmphr
Service interval is 15,000km or once a year whichever is early
Service cost is near 8,000âč to 15,000âč ( as you service every year after year
How difficult is it to maintain light coloured interiors ? Is it stain resistant ?
The company fitter seat colours & upholstery are very good quality . I have seen cars in service centre which have clocked miles in last 3 yrs , still their interiors are plush & clean still
How does petrol AT perform on hill climbs?
As per instructions manual , you are advised to switch to triptronic manual model during steep incline drive .
What about rattling noises heard all compasses suffer from it (2021 onwards
Have been using it for 18months . I donât hear any

Hi...hope you are enjoying your jeep. Can you give us an idea about long term ownership and the mileage in petrol engine? I m confused between petrol and diesel.
Petrol automatic mileage in city like mumbai have traffic area : 7kmpl .
On highways itâs 11kmpl easily , you may even get 13-15 if you drive 80kph
Diesel is best to go with only if you drive this car annually atleast 15,000kms /yr
Maintenance is not exorbindant , just less than 20k per year. .
Quality is awesome , you can easily feel itâs a sturdy car and safest .
I have done speeds 190kmph too , it was very safe
White colour could have been a nice choice but still it looks very sporty in red and black coloured roof đđđ is the engine break in done ?
These Jeep cars donât need breakin as per manuals . The first service is directly after 6months or 15,000km which ever is earliest .
Fantastic interiors. But as far as petrol turbo suvs, kicks and duster are class leading.. but their interiors are years behind JEEP. Congrats
Good choice
Sir I also bought a jeep can you TellMe if it has a inbuilt maps ?
Only for S model
Skoda new launches will surely overshadow Jeep Compass, if Skoda prices Kushaq and Karoq right in 2021
Kushaq is sub 4 meter compact . Price would be 10lakhs-16lakhs on-Rd . Not comparable to Jeeep .
Karoq - time will tell
Overall it's an excellent product. My concern was DDCT - Dry Dual Clutch Transmission system, it's not conducive for Indian Climate, with high climate temperature and dusty environment, it's prone to breakdowns, that's why most other premium companies have stopped this transmission and opted for conventional Torque Converter or CVT atleast for Indian market.
DDCT engines are majorly used in performance cars . Torque converters are conventional automatics which is in use by many manufacturers, but lacks the pickup & power of DCT .
DCT bcoz of its power , yes does get heats quickly . But the best part is , the shifts are very fast & there is no power lag . More power can be generated in a DCT with same engine size than through Torque converter .
DCT of FIAT is one of number 1 performance Petrol engine in the world sources to many manufacturers
Whats the difference between this varient and 80th edition?
Just a price difference of 50k âč .
Entire interiors is black + alloy wheels are Carbon black âcoatedâ +
Body cladding ( bumpers ) are coloured +
JEEP badging & all exterior chrome is replaced by Black colour + anniversary edition badge inside and outside .
Rest all remain the same
Please tell us after two years..ur experiences.. hope you dont need to change engine after 60000km.
Sure buddy. I will. The DDCt engine is one of the most technical machine. It needs to be used in a specific condition , else you will blow up . This engine if driven properly on highway , can even give mileage more than a manual car. I was surprise to get mileage of 16-18kmpl when cruising at 80kmphr. For 1 hour

I bought the Compass diesel S model but am having trouble with turn by turn voice navigation on Apple car play it works with Bluetooth but not car play.. anyone knows if a solution?
Check in phone app , if navigating voice is not mute .
Second , the volume of navigation in the infotainment system must have been set to -0
There is volume selection button on the touch infotainment, which is collapsible > click it & check if navigation volume is high

Sir what is the mileage of jeep
Compass 1.4 dct.
If you are going to drive in heavy traffic or roads where you canât go above 40kph (average speed ) . Then with a/c you will get mileage of 7km/ltr (Petrol )
If you are driving more of hwy & average speed is 60kph then expect 10kph economy

Automatic buddy
Personally my favourite too.......
Does this have remote start either by key or app?
As of now it doesnât have remote Start . Itâs more of a car to drive then a gizmo. Through an app : you can unlock / lock / honk/ Buzz hazard light / geo fence / track car movement / check engine behaviour/ coolant temp / battery đ/ record the cars entire trip on a map / disable a car remotely in case of theft .
What I know : JEEP is working on adding more connect car features like : Remote Start / Stop / AC on /

What is the mileage you are getting in the city and highway? please reply
City : 7-9kmpl
Highway : 12-13kmpl
Hi, I'm considering buying jeep compass, and I want an automatic transmission. I have Heard that petrol version gives real bad mileage, is it true? How much mileage are you getting in city? How's the ownership experience till now?
I'm sorry, I just saw that you have answered the mileage questions multiple times.. is it true that the car feels lazy under 2000rpm. How reliable is the dct transmission?
Hi Priyank, yes mileage is pretty bad for congested cities like Mumbai Bangalore Delhi đ·. But all luxury cars BMW Mercedes Audi skoda are the no better than Jeep in mileage . This car is more of a highway đŁ & long distance SUV . But if mileage is not a criteria , then for city too itâs a comfort & style statement O|||||||O
Below 2000rpm the feedback from accelerator is not that great if you have been driving a Manual car before ( trust me it has changed the way I used to drive in city with manual ritz ) . Hard acceleration in city will make your mileage drop to 7kph on average. So you will have to be gentle with the acceleration & get into the habit of driving automatic . But over a period you develop the sweet spot on paddle which gives you the right pick up that keeps you comfortable.
Plus point : the DDCT engine is the best engine of Fiat & reliable . Same engine is sourced to many other cars . It churns out the max BHP FROM THIS . The shifts are ultra smooth & car changes gear âïž so quickly , from 0(1st gear ) to 60kph ( 4-5 gears ) if you paddle smooth .
It also has triptronic which is very comfortable to drive ( if only you get used to it ) the triptronic has a very good feature to reducing the gears automatically when your speed reduces . Else for high gear ration , you will have to hit the knob .
Overall the driving above 60+ is very confidence boosting & bad roads are ironed out , even small bumps are cake walk
I would be making a separate video on Negative of Jeep Compass , stay tuned and subscribe
Go for safari automatic test ride.... Also safari thudđđ is better.... You'll feel amazing road presence and talking about price, safari is much better value product
Safari : has huge presence. Parking is tough in congested city roads of Mumbai . Make your pick .
@@vikasshetty1987 Safari cannot be compared to JC on quality parameters. The extra you pay for JC is for the quality. Safari may have a good thud like Mohit has mentioned, but it will also start rattling early!
I was also planning to by SUV from VW/Skoda but that will be too expensive and considering Jeep engine is almost or less than that of VW, i still feel it will give better value for money than VW and Skoda. I m planning to buy top end AT of Compass
Only thing which is missing here is paddle shifters which helps to take out most of SUV when you want to switch to manual in AT
As per my extensive research, the JEEP brand pays lot of attention to customer service & satisfaction for sales & service both .
Being in the market for 4th year , very less people have tried to resell the car on OLX / Cars24 & other platforms. This shows the positive effect from buyers who are happy with the car in long runs . Petrol âœïž cars are good for maintenance & less running . Build of Jeep is very good & galvanised steel 70% is best in quality for anti rust properties
Paddle shifter are missing , wish it had one . Should have costed the company so much .
But yes the triptronic shifts are smooth & fast đš too. On highways I do use it very often to over take
what is the real-world mileage?? give real figures after personal use
These are real world mileage after using it . Driven 1000kms .
I got it three days back. Model S 4x4 is giving me 12 in highway and 8-9 in city.
If you want a better mileage go with manual but you have to sacrifice 4x4
do give me advice on it ..as my colleageus are against this ... due to high cost and low mileage !!!
Mileage of Petrol is at very lower side : please buy a diesel manual .
Secondly maintenance is only once a year :
1st year : 10,000-12,000âč
2nd year : 10,000-15,000âč
3 year : 15,000-25,000âč ( brake pad changes )

Yes , you have to set the driver seat high for complete visibility.
I am 6 ft , still I have to set the height of seat high to have a look at bonnet edges .
But I prefer driving on my own judgment, so seats are set at lower height .
The roof is on the lower side , so if you set the driver seat full high : a tall person 6â2âwill touch his head to roof

Second : T-roc ground clearance is lowest in the segment . Interiors of tRoc was not very appealing
Jeep Compass : clutch burn out in automatic ?
I have done exhausting study : Jeep improvisation on safety put a lot of checks when you are driving .
Example electronic parking brake ( EPB ) disengagement happens only when you press the brake & shift modes . Many driver forget this & tend to shift without brakes applied through foot đŠ¶đ» causing stress to gear system. Plus while taking reverse đ you should ensure the car is standstill before engaging reverse .
Some good driving habits will never create gear issues . This engine is being used by many different manufacturers sourced by Fiat & Fiat is the parent company of JEEP

Bro I also got my compass sport manual in petrol 2 weeks back and I am able to get 8.5-9KM/L in Bangalore city traffic. I don't get a chance to drive it on highways as of now.. Thanks for the video.
Congratulations buddy . Thatâs a good choice . Sports version is good deal , over a period you can make changes to alloys & wrap the top panel to make it more sportier like Limited model .
I have taken the car on highway & with traction control: the vehicle just feel super planted & confidence inspiring . Trust it flies low
@@vikasshetty1987 Wrapping is illegal as per Jeep Officials, They have received complaints from their customers. So, I have dropped the wrapping plan.
Hey, atul @atulkumar, i am also planning to buy the same model which cost arround 20lakhs onroad. Will you please share your experience about the same. Like comfort, infotainment, etc.
Should jeep sport petrol be considered over ki seltos facelift top? Or creta top? Please help.
@@ninaadmahajan Definitely yes. You won't regret your decision. Once you drive the Jeep you will get to know the difference
Can you tell me which varient is this ?
Please provide details đđ»
Actually your car has cruise control feature
But when I search I didn't found cruise control in limited (o) varient.
@@rajasthani__1086 cruise control is only available for Automatic variants .
@@vikasshetty1987 okay thanks
Even I own Petrol auto compass but donât like its performance especially 0 to 60 km
Is there a turbo lag in petrol?
You will not feel the turbo lag in this engine .
Fiat has tuned it very well for sporty drive .
Itâs the Fiat engine that is sourced to all companies including Tata , MG
Range me bhi difference hai between creta, seltos etc , this version costs approx 28lakhs, and creta top variant doesn't go above 23 lakh
Safety also has a cost đČ đđŒ
Wow the interiors are amazing the colour of interiors does not suit to the car exterior colour. If your car exterior would be blue or black or even white also than the colour of the interior could look more awesome and combination would also be nice
Sure . Agreed .
Kindly inform me what is the milage of petol varient city & Highway.
Petrol : automatic
City average : 7-10kmpl
Highway ,: 14-16kmpl
Petrol Manual :
City : 8-10kmpl
Highway : 15-18kmpl
In my test ride of 50KM, mixed city and highway, it gave 8 kmpl combined, petrol AT. That's the only thing stoping me from buying this. And year one more thing, the slugging performance between 70-110 kmph. Then I drive Diesel AT and that was cruising at 120 with no fuss.
Yes diesel is more torque than petrol âœïž. Agreed if you are running the car mode daily at least 80kms( hwy ) then buying diesel makes sense . Petrol engine is quieter and less maintenance on long term ( 10-15yrs )
Is jeep reliable bro? I am considering this.. will it be a good choice? And what is the maintenance cost?
Jeep body & material used would last for 10 years easily . Service cost is 15,000kms interval or 6months costing no mote than 10,000âč . After 35,000kms brake pads change would cost your 3,000âč extra .
Extended warranty of 3+2 years could be purchased extra .
People in USA & other countries still used 20+ old Jeep still without any issue . That is the build quality . If you are going to think of mileage then , donât buy .
