  • The war in Ukraine has altered the global order. How is it changing politics around the globe? What is the historical background of the different nations in the region throughout the different historical eras and how does that affect the current conflict? What does history tell us about where this is headed?
Brian Becker is joined by Vijay Prashad, the Executive Director of the Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, Chief Editor of LeftWord Books, and author of “Red Star Over the Third World.”

NATO did not even try to pretend that there is an effort to broker a ceasefire and prevent unnecessary bloodshed. They just poured gasoline on fire. The weapons that were shipped to Ukraine were a death sentence for the receivers.

There’s Clintons clone behind Biden and they REALLY hate Putin, it’s like a revenge to them to keep Russia at war as long as possible to destroy it AND it will impact the USA itself, which they, both Clintons, hate as well. Many are so propagandized that even if they stumble on a video like this, as soon as they hear the word “socialist” they immediately reject the entire idea of even listening to it. Completely supporting your thoughts on why the US had to reel NATO countries back in to the full weight of US influence. Proxy war :( All those lives lost, increased hunger, increased prices and a destroyed Ukraine in this war because the US felt their influence had diminished. @@andrawusazimi8428 Ok, I'll take the time to teach you how to fish. I simply can't tell you the truth™ because things are compilated and have different layers.
Explaining an overview to a college of mine took 2h in person. And that's just an overview without details, without proofs and interesting nooks and crannies.
And I would not assume what I know is 100% true, ever.
First thing, every media outlet is biased, one way or another. Official media sources are propaganda.
Not by necessarily lying but by twisting the truth as much as they can get away with, leaving out context, questioning things that are factually proven and
explaining things that are not proven at all as facts.
If you read "We have to bomb this man because he's bad" question why the man is bad. What did he do? It that really proven?
When Putin says "Special Operation" what does he mean by this? Try to understand his reasoning and only then you can decide if you (dis)agree with him.
Good videos on geopolitical things like university presentations and analyses are usually long and boring. They have to be because things are complicated.
When somebody tries to sum up something geopolitical in a few sentences he's full of sh!t. The relationship of you and your spouse is more complicated than
      that between multiple countries, really?
Another good thing to know are labels. Labels are a few powerful tool in propaganda because once people are trained to react to them they don't have to think about the actual arguments stated. Ignore labels and try to understand the actual arguments somebody wants you to think about.

Part of Amerikkkan propaganda for decades has been to ensure that the very word "propaganda" is understood to be a synonym of "lies", when it really just means to spread ideas. If Amerikkka were to admit this, the façade of "balanced journalism" would die instantly, thus exposing their own propaganda as lies.

From any aspect that I have looked at Ukraine's situation, I am forced to conclude that Ukraine and particularly Zelensky has allowed himself to be played for a fool by the NATO hangers on that he should hold his grounds. If Russia moved against his country they would all support him and his country. Zelensky's EGO became so big he even dared Russia to attack Ukraine in respect Donietsk and Luhansk.
The only conditions required to be fulfilled were- neutrality of Ukraine, Independence of L&D and no NATO membership. In other words the Minsk agreement.
Slavishly believing the West and NATO would support him, Zelensky believed he already had neuclare force at his disposal. He was left with his arms outstretched begging, pleading, beseeching his imagined supporters. They never appeared. Ukraine now has its country in ruins and a mess. He boasts now we stood firm. With all of his assets destroyed, refugees, maybe indebted for all the arms provided, a smashed face and he thinks he's a hero!

I watched just a little bit of his performance as acomedian,- he refected the situation with the US and ultra- rights realistically. But later somebody wrote a scenario for him as a president and one of ukrainian oligarchs, Kolomoyski, who owned a lot and a tv channel, became his friend. People in comments wrote, that Kolomoyski had investments in… Burisma and this is like pandora box. And so on. I personally am very sorry, that a lot of ordinary Ukrainians lost what they had, however those ukro- nazis are really awful people and there is no any way to make them to dissapear. Originally they were created by the dame Kolomoyski for protecting his businesses.
I had impression that Zelenski was a good person before he became a president. Also what is interesting, that during this two weeks the US replaced some Russian gas by American in EU, it means that Zelenski played his part in that.

It’s unfortunate for Ukraine: this is a proxy war by America against Russia. Ukraine happens to be the location. All one has to do is put yourself into the shoes of Russia. @@sjhbartlet Over the centuries the misconception of Russia has been fuelled by certain special interests who hate Russia, its civilization, culture and its spiritual life. Russia, according to these interests, is a land of slaves who admire cruelty and raw power. This phobia of all things Russian can be traced to members of the so-called "illuminated " philosophical societies; secret Masonic lodges and financiers who undermined France and brought about the Reign of Terror in the 1790s.
The concept of the Russian soul, so often derided and misunderstood by the Western media, is in fact real and a great uniting bond among all Russian people.
Socialism in Russia was imported from the West and imposed by force and violence at the cost of millions of lives, as it was so alien and incomprehensible to the Russian people.
Russian resistance to bow to alien ideologies enraged all the proponents of socialism and liberal democracy. If not gracefully accepted by natives, it must be imposed by force regardless of the cost in human lives and national destruction.
Erroneous views of a "dark and obscurantist Russia " made it a justification to impose a "liberating socialism" on Russia.
The academic, mass media and show-business controllers of the West always have been in sympathy with Bolshevik and Marxist enforcers who took over Russia in 1917. The people of the world have only one choice: to accept "modern democracy" as defined by media-academic-liberal establishment. If they choose anything else they are immediately demonized and subject to the most violent punishment and enforcement. Russians must forever be prohibited from finding their own way of life and development and retain the culture and history that bound them together.
The forces that unleashed communism in Russia from the Western civilization at the turn of the previous century are very much in power today and efforts to subjugate Russia have never been stronger. Russia and Russian people are a friendly universe who should never be conquered by alien systems and ideologies aiming to destroy its history, culture and very nationhood. Was the Soviet Union not created in New York city and london and Berlin by bankers please? Those who created the Soviet Union are the same people who created the State of Israel..
