- Expanding on an observation from his last talk, Andreas asks why we talk so much about the cartels in drugs and oil, but rarely about one of the largest cartels in the world: banking. He analyses recent (unacknowledged) history with the 2008 financial crisis, the corrupt revolving door with regulators, how kleptocracy is destroying democracy, and why Bitcoin matters as an exit when voice is no longer an option.

Full of righteous fury, but everything he said he's said before. While I'll watch the whole damn thing, approve and enjoy, the Andreas I prefer now is the one that is in a smaller room full of geeks and he gets down and dirty with the technical details, less bombastic and more relaxed.

That's the point, when your freedom is at stake you are not relaxed and you have hatred against the ones who dare to try to enslave you. Being soft and technical is necessary but that's not the end goal. Satoshi made it very very clear in the first block, the goal of bitcoin is to get ride of bankster
@Lukas Johmann & @@jediforbear: It's clear to me that likely there are people in the audience who have never heard Andreas speak and a performance like this is like a bucket of cold water to wake up, so to speak, just what the doctor ordered for the human race. Understanding that banks/governments must lose their monopolies on money is clear to me entirely thanks to the spectacular eloquence of Andreas in similar talks previous to this one. It's a valuable message to revisit and of course I hope many people stumble onto this video and have a road to Damascus moment.
"The goal of Bitcoin is to get rid of the bankster." - Which is why I love his talks where, for example, he explains why wallets need designers to work closely with the engineers building the code, and shares some suggestions on how to get your uncle and grandma to use the technology with no fear.
"There's an end goal in twenty years!" is what you're saying, a very valuable thing. But this goes one precarious step at a time, so the next question is "Where are we, what's the next step and how can I participate?"
There's also his Q&As on Ethereum, which I think are very important to try and begin to grasp, to understand little by little, the potential of that ecosystem.
Andreas keep sharing your knowledge with us because mainstream media wont tell us those facts. The only thing mainstream media and tv is here is to entertain us so we cant ask ourself whats wrong in this world
