im not complaining though.
Coming from HSR and a generral JRPG background of prefered games, I tried this game yesterday.. and could not stop playing, didnt knew an "AFK" style of game was this good/addicting. Artstyle, graphics, pulls, music, performance is all phenomenal. Also PC CLIENT DAY 1, 0 issues!! Would recommend for people to try it out!

Want to point out that you can also use Perfect Timing (S5) on him, wich might be his BIS or second best depending on you're prefferred build/playstyle.
He gets 32% effect resistance capping him to 100%+ when entering battle with E1. And then gaining 27% outgoing healing bonus from that effect resistance, while his sign LC (4*) gives him more sustain for himself and 48% break effect, that break effect will be converted into outgoing healing bonus from his trace by 24% (50% of the break effect). So.. he will heal more with Perfect Timing (S5) and gets CC-immune instead of more Break effect and self sustain. Ofcourse the overal Break effect will contribute to that 75% max he can achieve.
I dont like that it overcaps at E1 + S3+ D:
@@guobacertified True, but if you dont have good break effect substats, or way to low to benefit from his A1 conversion, the only source of Outgoing Healing is from you're body. Since its all flat healing, you could use that extra 27% outgoing healing being converted from the Effect resistance. Capped or not.

It’s overcapped! I am at 95% without his 2 ERes traces.
Forgot to mention that my Gallager is E6. Not even reaching 150% BE but i found his healing comfortable.
I pulled Gallagher on a whim and didn't know how to build him and literally thought "I'll just wait for Guoba's guide" so thank you!!

As for Gallagher, he's been doing quite well on my Acheron team, except for content where my units are getting literally oneshot lol, but seems like I overbuilt break effect (like 180% lmao) which is really funny if he breaks, but I'll tune it down as I farm more relics

I made him a mix of fire dps and a healer, worked better than I expected
I wasn't pulling specifially for Gallagher, but I luckily got him to E6 on the way to E2 Acheron.
Was pulling for Acheron, got e6 Gallagher instead. Time to build him I guess he looks cool
Managed to get both Abundance boys!!
He’s literally so good since his traces and eidolons adds on so much to his kit and scales them really well (adding eff res, scale healing boost to BE, remove debuff on skill), he’s basically the most versatile healer with damage amp at a 4*
I have him at e4 and was wondering if he is better than Lynx, what are your thoughts ?
@@ahmedmubarak751 def better, I had e6 lynx and built her but chuck her aside due to the weird healing style and ult debuff which can be hard to time. He works like luocha since the more u atk the more u heal. E2 and above he can debuff remove on skill which is basically everything that’s needed
Got Gallagher twice while pulling for Luocha and got him at e2 from the selector. He’s a bit tricky to get the hang of but his healing is amazing, when firefly/sam comes out, I’ll definitely be putting him in with her along with silver wolf and Harmony trailblazer. That team will work wonders I tell ya!
I was stuck on floor 12 after building him i finished both floors with a 3 stars so yeah ...he's good 🎩👍
Correct me if I'm wrong but, you can get a 3 turn ulti (ult, enhanced basic + skill + skill) with gallagher
with Post op S2, 5% energy planar, and ERR rope.

Got him at e1 for the selector. Got e1 Luocha in 40 pity. Works well since I use Luocha in every team I play.
11:40 I think you're going to update these guides soon, so I want to say there seems to be an error in that E1 energy gain isn't shown as effected by ERR, which can lighten the rotation load for turn 1.

Also the game decided to be funny and not give him to me till I managed to pull my E2 Acheron 😂. The exact same suffering I went through for Tingyun and Yukong.

Got acheron in 2 pulls, and Loucha in 6, I literally had to pull extra times to get this man lmao (he's gonna go crazy)
Strange that you didn't mention Perfect Timing as its such a great 4* LC option for him
im a new player and all i did was use acheron, gallagher, march 7th and trailblazer, trust me, it took me forever but they did a good job of healing themselves and keeping shield consistently, so fortunately, after a long time of fighting, i did it, srsly tho this team works well (u can replace acheron w someone else)
It is interesting that no one mentions the battle pass light cone for him. I would think it would be a decent amount of healing with his focus on basics.
I was lucky enough during my pulls for Acheron to get him to E6.
But right now the struggle is farming watchmaker/hackerspace combos.
He has been excellent for my Acheron team. Even at talent level 6 and 80 break effect the healing more than tops off Acheron or Pela when using AoE attacks. Lacking E4 feels a bit rough though as you units are in danger of dying if you can't get his energy back up fast enough. My recommendation is to not be too bothered about maxing break effect out and just stack as much speed as you can manage.
I'm certainly pulling for Gallagher. I'm in fact pulling for Acheron to get him.

Gallagher's sustain power is probably more than enough to avoid skilling in Ruan Mei teams because enemies take less actions. The fights I think he would be really bad into are True Sting and Sam. True Sting has a lot of enemies that inflict DoT (he has no cleanse) and Sam has high toughness, no fire weakness (also resists Fire iirc) and he also has powerful team-wide damage.
That comment on Dr. Ratio and Gallagher being hot caught me off guard there. I mean yeah, they are.
I might build him, but I already did failed at getting Acheron. Got E1 Bronya instead.

Whats your opinion on gallagher for high level moc? I tested him last night on moc10 only with acheron pela and black Swan and he was struggling to heal the aoe a little bit. He's not perfectly built yet though.

He very much feels like he was made to fill the role of Aventurine for people who don't want to pull him. Either way, they're both very cool.

after I make my lynx able to solo sustain, he’s gonna be my backup for fire weak content 🤩🤩🤩

Me running 2pc Watch/Thief at 190+ break effect. Sure he could use the bonus stats elsewhere, but man is a monster and should play like a monster waiting to strike. Breaking toughness and breaking hearts.
I was always curious towards how you made those pixel art Guoba's, or if whether someone else made them for you, but now I'm even more curious with the new rig. Did you make it yourself, and does it take a lot of work to swap out the 'skin' to another character?
Energy Rope + Post OP S4 with Vonwaq let's him basic ult basic at the start of the game before the enemies attack. So you can generate 2 SP and 2 Acheron stacks. It will also reduce incoming damage with the atk debuff and your team can just heal up again in their turn. Break effect doesn't seem necessary. Especially if your team has AOE attacks.
Nice guide! but is the 150% BE cap for his healing outside of battle buffs or is that including buffs during battle i.e if you put him with Ruan Mei?
You can use Gallagher + Ruan Mei + Himeko + Herta for Pure Fiction shenanigans
Currently using him on two teams. Acheron team and a Break focused team - Gallagher, Ruan Mei, Sushang/Luka and either Xueyi or Himeko depending on weaknesses. Sushang/Luka will be swapped for Boothill as soon as I get him.
I like him! But I think I will build him once i got his e2 for that cleanse.

Retired Sampo's break set(thief of whatever) to him with 25 subs of BE+SPD alone and maaan. He really breaks the hell out mobs. LVL70 Gallagher E6 breaks for 30k to single target. Can't wait to level him to 80.
Hey I know this is a super weird request but could you do a build for the fire trailblazer especially now with that trend of the universal market and him being able to taunt guarantee counts towards acherons stacks to get her ultimate. Keep up the good videos potato bear man 👍🏻

So they released the character that breaks Skill point rules, the character that breaks toughness regardless of their type, I'm waiting for the one that breaks the character limit in the group so I can bring Acheron, Nihility, Sparkle, Ruan Mei, Sustain
I so plannig use him for Himerta team. With him and Ruan Mei I almost think it can be used outside of PF.
I will use him with Kafka, Black Swan and Ruan Mei, who will boost his Break Effect/Weakness Break Efficiency. This will allow him to apply another DoT on enemies he breaks, which will benefit Kafka's DoT detonation :)
