Yea, she had started in 1981 at 13 years old. She was very popular in French Canada and then gained European popularity after winning two hugely popular song festivals in the late 80s. She debuted her first English album in 1990 and we know the rest of the amazing story.
Thank god it happened that way. I’m so glad that Celine came to the states to make music. She’s definitely a National treasure. She NEVER disappoints with her performances.

Celine is the biggest selling female singer in the worldl ;she needs no introduction.......is she pumped in the US like MC etc...........no, Celine is Canadian (French Canadian) ......you know the US mentality.....but she is huge on the rest of the planet.

Celine's voice is one of a kind. And her stage presence? OMYHEART! Classy. Stunning. Elegant. Statuesque. Eloquent. Powerfully Beautiful. Mesmerizing! Her voice & her physical appearance & presence can all be described with the same adjectives. There is no other and she is an example of a true lady!
From a female perception, she has my admiration, adoration & gratitude for her image, self-presentation & iconic representation, as well as, gifting us with her beautiful singing voice.

She was not speaking English at all before 1990 but wanted to have an international career in both French and English. So in 1989 she took English lessons to learn English and release her 1st English album in 1990 (UNISON), 1992 (CELINE DION), 1994 (COLOUR OF MY LOVE), 1995 (FALLING INTO YOU), 1997 (LETS TALK ABOUT LOVE) AND SO MUCH MORE AFTER THAT.....
