- In this episode I review 5 different gear/bow hangers in an effort to find one that is compatible with me leaving my quiver on my bow while in the tree.
Have you struggled to find a place to hang your quiver?
Have you wanted to leave your quiver on your bow but didn't have the clearance from the tree to be able to?
I purchased these five gear/bow hangers and found a couple that will work on any public land tree while allowing you to leave your quiver on your bow.

Out of all of those, it think I would prefer the 3d genesis one. I was at Archery Connection in GA and found a really cool hanger that is basically a hook with paracord and one of those push button things you would find on a backpack or something. I basically just girth hitch it to my HYS Strap. What I love about it is it basically ways nothing and I can put it in my pocket if I want. I can also attach it to anything, even a limb. It probably wouldn't solve your issue though as it would put pressure on the quiver, but I always take my quiver off anyway. Good review!

I use a 6ft piece of Amsteel with a captive loop. I hang my bag on the tag end from a continuous loop and use a hero clip for my bow up top. I either hang my quiver from a another hook up top or stuff it in my bag.
I would like the Pine Ridge Archery system. Your videos have a ton of information. You were my go to when I needed a review on some saddles.

I use the HME bow hanger but I put my own strap on using a Over Center buckle to do away with the ratchet strap noise.

You do really good reviews. The genesis 3-d is the one I use. But I take my quiver off I practice without it also. I like your shirt I was on his podcast last Friday.

I love your honest reviews!!!! I would take any one of those hangers off your hands if any are still available! I just got into saddle hunting and i decided to go with a tethrd menace saddle and a lone wolf flip top climber as my means of climbing.

Thanks for the review. I’ve been using a hero clip and hanging from my cam because I don’t have split limbs. I really like the pack ability, light weight and how easy it is to connect into my gear strap. The small lip on the hook does require extra attention to make sure you are hooked on securely.
Do you see any issue with hanging from the cam?
Thanks for the feedback, Chuck! It's good to hear another positive thought on the Hero Clip! I really like it as well! No there wouldn't be any problem hanging your bow on the cam as long as you're not slamming it on there. lol I've done the same thing in the past. Hope you have a great season!
Why not practice hanging your bow with the quiver away from the tree? Then any of them would work for ya. Tweak your system! Try moving things to different positions on the tree strap... Hunt safely, my Friends!
Great suggestions, Team Crooks! I’ve thought about those but I’m big on keeping my movements to a minimum, and I don’t want the arrow pointing in my direction, and the extra process of needing to turn the bow around isn’t worth it to me. I’d rather find a hanger that fits my setup. Thanks for the ideas! I always appreciate different perspectives! Hope you have a great season!

Great question, Louis! I actually have an HME gear hanger that I use for my other gear (range finder, grunt call, etc.) and I attach the 3D hanger to it. Here is a link to something similar that I use:

HAHA! Yeah the mosquitoes were really bad so I used the pole instead!
Pine Ridge is garbage do not Get it. It broke 1st time using it the plastic buckle snapped as I was trying to tighten it on the tree. And honestly the plastic is so cheap I wouldn't trust hanging my Damn near $3000 bow on it
