I think you see Jerry lose his job at the end of that simulation episode. He proposes his "Hungry for Apples" slogan to his real boss and gets fired on the spot.

Who said the Purge movies were no good
A lot of people, but most of the complaints about the movie(s) always seem to be from people who completely missed the point. They get obsessed over whether or not a purge would 'work' in terms of keeping crime down the rest of the year, when the movie makes it pretty blatantly obvious that those are just the claims of a fascist government who use the purge to eliminate "undesirable" elements of society. The first Purge movie is when I realized how many people consume media without being able to understand anything even remotely subtle. If you want a movie to have a message, you pretty much have to have a main character face the camera and explain it because otherwise at least 25% of the audience will miss the point, no matter how painfully obvious you make it otherwise.
I never watched an episode of "Rick and Morty" until this episode. I loved it so much, that I had to go back and watch it from the beginning. I am now a "Rick and Morty" fan and have seen them all.

I enjoy the purge films.
The first one is ok.
The second is really good imo and the third and fourth is atleast fun.
There is a purge TV show which is fantastic and underrated as heck.
Season 1 was good apart from the dumb decision at the end.
Can't even remember season 2 guess that's why it was cancelled
The The Purge movies are fine, I enjoyed some more than others but they are all just fun action movies entertaing.
When morty buried his own body and rick did, morty realized that his life means NOTHING.

I feel that way anytime I'm in the presence of someone with ADHD. Especially if it's family. Not their fault, still massively sucks, though.

There are like two good Purge movies. Maybe three.
The second and the first purge are the best ones imo. Then three then one. Havent seen the new one tho. The TV is show is fantastic tho.

First movie of The Purge is good. Remaining all becoming routine like remaining movies of Final Destination.
"Three weeks earlier" is a jab at the lazy way business forces writers to put the action up front to hook the audience and then jump backwards, because they don't trust audiences to stay interested through a normal story structure. Writers who don't have faith in themselves will do it without even being asked because they expect to be rejected otherwise. That's why Morty accuses him of not liking his own writing.

The Purge movies are not nearly as violent as this episode, it’s also not that good of a franchise. It’s a case of a really good concept, but poor execution.
Purge movies aren’t high cinema but they ain’t bad. You’ve definitely watched worse here
