Until just now I thought a "draught excluder" was like a draft dodger in the US (someone who avoided being drafted into the Army). Now I see that it's a whole other thing and it makes a lot more sense.
I didn't understand what it meant til I googled it. It's a long pillow-like object that you can place at the bottom of a door to keep cold drafts out of your house.
