- C minor - the mark of a serious piece, of which this is no exception. Thus, Bach commands an exercise of the intellect here that stretches it to the summits of high art, where this piece is most rightly placed.
Recorded at the Bales Recital Hall at the University of Kansas in January 2024. - Hudba
I played that wonderful instrument right after its installation - what a joy. The instrument and room are magical!
It is a pleasure to watch an organist playing a complex piece of music without head shaking, eye rolling and bowing up and down to the console with movements distracting to the viewer.
You don't know the meaning of passion. And I don't expect you to understand. That's something a musician with heart and great spirit can do.
I have heard the Prelude and Fugue in c minor BWV 546 many times, on various organs, and I really liked Aídan, including your magnificent interpretation, very well played. Congratulations, affectionate greetings from the east of the Kingdom of Spain.😊👍😊
I learned that magnificent piece when I was about your age. Wonderful performance and what a fabulous organ on which to play it.
Thank you for your kind words!
Grosse Hände, lange Beine, total konzentriert, das Profil eines vielversprechenden Organisten!
Très belle prise de son
What a beautiful performance! Thank you for this video!
Marvellous sound, well registered and excellent tempi. Maybe some more articulation in the prelude and terracing dynamics might bring out the majesty of this piece; then in the fugue the same can apply especially in the solo manual sections. But over all a steady and convincing performance 😊
AWESOME ! - instrument, acoustic, and performance! Bach as it was meant to be heard -- in a room on an instrument more fabulously designed and executed than can hardly be believed!!!

F A B U L O U S : bravo - an amazing performance! As you say, C minor takes this Bach masterpiece to high art (and inspired me to a greatly inferior 'homage': czcams.com/video/ZUDOW0b6XOQ/video.html )❤
