@@SoulDivide900+ pages in a single book is a LOT of pages, and FAR from lazy writing, which is why it won multiple awards, including best selling book of the century. The vast majority of books on the current market only have a few hundred pages each, unless you want to count omnibus editions, which I don’t count since they are multiple books in one 📚

I see there is still no new videos talking about the rushed into production Star Wars movie which had its budget cut being put out. Its like they don't want to get another black eye.
I predict a full budget of four hundred million with a net loss of fifty million or more.

Not a surprise the new Star Wars Rey director despises men. After all, she doesn't want women to feel uncomfortable with the story telling, but she has no qualms doing the same to all men.
It does explain why she much rather have Rey the Mary-Sue stay as the main character instead of even attempting to make Finn the new main character. Too bad he got screwed over in episode 8 and 9 and will continue to be mistreated.

There are entire new generations of consumers now, a proverbial gold mine just waiting to be tapped, but they have to be willing to take risks and tell brand new stories that fall outside the box of what the fans want to see. Thats part of what made the High Republic such a massive success, because none of us had a clue what to expect from it, because it was a brand new era to us, which made us both nervous and excited to engage with it.
After these last few films, the company should start getting military contracts to make things to drop on enemy countries.
They already get a LOT of government money, but that would be funny if they did purchase a stake in defense contracting as well, because they already have their proverbial hands in so many various industries that constantly rake in money for them 😍

The great thing about movies is they continually bring profits in for the entirety of their existence. A movie can have a horrible box office and STILL rake in millions/billions of dollars over the years that people view it, rent it, buy it, etc on their streaming subs, cable on demand, etc. Same goes for books, they rake in profits for as long as they exist on the market. These products don’t just magically disappear after the box office 😂
For example, some authors will release a new book and readers will be like “Never heard of that author, I’m gonna pass”, so their launch will be small, but then once reviews start getting posted, word spreads, etc let’s say a year later all of a sudden that authors book is all over the place stirring up a storm. These corporations know this and can easily turn a temporary loss into a nice profit over the years ❤

It’s official. Disney revealed the next director and burned their bridge with me forever. I’ve spent thousands and thousands on this franchise and Disney has consistently done whatever they could to alienate their paypigs. I get more enjoyment from watching what I used to love slowly die than the actual content they put out. Filoni was believed to be the closest thing to a competent writer in all of Lucasfilm now.
Ahsoka kind of lifted the veil in that myth. I wouldn't expect much from the story group writers for this thing vs. whatever the books had.
@StarWarsObituaryNews What's sad is I have always said Dave was a hack. When TCW was going on you heard Dave's name here and there at first. Then he started doing interviews and we found out he was the head director of the show but we all heard that he was just another Yes man for George. Then Rebels came along g and the PR team tried to spin it that he was George's student and was the best one to tell his stories but when you looked at Rebel you seen how weak his writing and ideas really where. They kept hyping up a vice actor director as the next best thing to George and many kids bought into it. Now with the take over of the Ashoka show and seeing his ideas and writing people are now seeing he was over hyped and just a hack.

He made one 50/50 show that only now has gained a cult following, everything else he’s made has been mid to straight up bad, sole exception being mando s1 probably thanks to Favreau. The book and comic writers are where the quality is; Charles Soule, Cavan Scott, George Mann, Timothy Zahn etc.

@@der_tyjoy8253It wasn't a lie as I was going based on what Rosario Dawson said at the time in a Podcast interview. Where they asked her if Ahsoka Season 2 is happening and she replied saying she hasn't heard anything yet. I'll eat the crow for this one but they did tepidly announce it after Rey movie Director's comments caused a ruckus. I agree though, nothing can save this franchise until a visionary akin to George Lucas comes along and even then it would be way too late by that point.
The projects I'm waiting for are the Eclipse game and the Rian Johnson trilogy.
