After PBIR closing recently I’m sad I ever threw away any material from there. That Desoto raceway sign deserves a good retirement indoors.
@@medajim9092 negative, typically they are held In Place by channels and locked in by blocking the channels so it can't slide out. Closest thing I can think of to reference an image is the same way you change the filter on a furnace.
Super easy to remove so if it was brittle (it's definitely not though) it would still be easily saved.
Would be a relatively easy conversion to run that sign solar on a battery bank. I can’t tell if it’s a one color or an LED board below it but it could easily be updated and put on solar. A few thousand dollars to have a proper road frontage sign seems like a smart investment.
I second that...100w panel...with one 100amph lithium batt, led lights and light sensor switch and you are good. $1k all day long.

Don't know why they want to change it when it hasn't given them a reason to - Modulars still not getting their due respect.
A Coyote would be, well, at least a Ford I guess. More interesting than an LS - less interesting than Modulars and the 7.3 Zilla. Or even a BBF. I really like Coyotes, but it's a burnout car not a classic hotrod/restomod or even a track/drag car, where a Coyote is debatably a 'better' choice(not by any significant margin, you can essentially do about the same with either one, the 5.4 is just a little bigger with its deck height) just from being newer.
It'd be one thing if they had reliability problems with it or if it required a high amount of maintenance - but, damn, it's the opposite, it's been bulletproof while probably getting the least maintenance out of all of the collection(non-competiton car = last in line).

More than he probably wants to admit. My guess is, with the cost of the cars, the parts (which probably mostly get sponsored) and the man hours he has to pay to have them ready...It's 150k for each batch of 20-ish he buys. And, he's mentioned that they keep getting more expensive (can't imagine why lol)

@Erikk Hyndman who else do you know that bought a track to host their own events? Has multiple races a year with D list to A list racing celebrities? Who competes in the sports themselves, and owns their own team. Runs a merch line? Runs a CZcams channel and puts out almost daily content? And who has drawings and giveaways that’s not spend $100 and get a chance to win a shirt. No one else is doing as much entertaining and giving back than what they are doing.

Had a great time a couple sundays ago watching the drags, my 8yrold son Quinn couldn’t stop watching the entrance to the FF in hopes of catching a chance to see the man himself and try to see the stock car track too! Looking forward to getting back up there with our Marauder to see what an ACTUAL bone stock marauder can do... never been on a drag strip before so I may need some pointers.... and a helmet.... LETS GOOOOO!!

There’s no car in the fleet that’s been beat on like Neighbor..I always figured when that old engine finally gave up it would drop its guts all over the burnout pad. If the new engine can take half the abuse the old one did I’ll be impressed.

take those neck downs off the sump pumps and put on the proper adapter, you will triple the output...and you can use i think its 2 or 2.5 blue collapsible hose

GT500 Crown Vic still needs long tube headers, you want that motor to last with thrashing it will take stress off the engine and blower and run cooler head temps, boost is a measure of restriction, efficiency lowers boost and makes same/more power.

Cleeter you should look into route 66 speedway in joilet Illinois its a newer track that goes absolutely unused you might be able to host a event there theres also a 1/4 mile drag strip and dirt oval in the property.
Kinda surprised they went with 2.5” exhaust versus 3” considering it’s making 1khp, plus the methanol is going to increase the volume of exhaust gasses…either way it’s gonna rip!!
Because it's a burnout car and the smaller exhaust helps the sound
