Locomotive cab ride

This is the return half of the cab ride I took at the DB Museum, Koblenz. It’s the raw footage, off my phone. I know little about German railways, so all I can say is it was a diesel shunter with steam brakes. It was fun though.

That is some master-level braking there. I wonder if the driver also does passenger trains?
I think German shunters are commonly diesel-hydraulic rather than diesel-electric -- the engine sound is very different than US shunters.
