I grew up with the Seagers and played basketball in high school with Justin and Corey. Only met Kyle here and there a few times, but it's been amazing to see their stories unfold over the years since I last saw them. I was born in Los Angeles and been a Dodgers fan since birth even though I grew up in North Carolina. Having a friend of mine from back in the day be an All-Star, World Series MVP and CHAMPION for my favorite team - it's been amazing!! Also, Jody was my elementary school PE teacher, and she is awesome!

This Dodgers/Mariners series was one of the highlights of this season for me. Kyle’s smile/smirk as Corey rounded the bases was so endearing.
Can you imagine, as parents, watching your two boys play one another in Major League Baseball for the first time, and they both go yard? I get goosebumps just thinking about it. Just wow. Someone out there who is better at math than me could calculate the actual odds, and I bet they are about as rare as it gets.

Seager & Mookie Betts are both gonna be top-5, imho, but I don't think either will win it... I bet they give it to Machado, for what he did in that lineup for Cronenberger & Tatis, especially... I'd still pick Betts over Seager, but I tell you what, we have a wealth of riches in this lineup, if they win the WS this year it'll almost make up for all the tears this last few decades 😂

Been that way for multiple years now, but nothing to show in October. Boys need to bring the bats this year - say what you want about Dave Roberts and Kershaw in the postseason last year, but the offense was nowhere to be found against the Nationals either

I remember meeting Corey and Justin in 2016 before Coreys rookie season. My family had coffee with the seager family and talk about the best game out there. Very genuine people and great to meet.
Interesting that this was really only made possible this year because of COVID - Dodgers originally were scheduled to play the AL Central as their interleague opponent, and were supposed to play the AL West and the Mariners next year. But because of the COVID travel restrictions it got to happen this year.

I'm a huge Mariners fan, since I live in NW Oregon, but this game was a whole lot of fun to watch! Looking forward to seeing Kyle and Corey playing against each other again, hopefully in the World Series next year.

What's the chances of this. Wow this is absolutely awesome. Watching both your boys hit a hr in the same game. As a father of 2 boys around the same age and a avid fan of baseball. Not sure what your confused about. Which team plays where in the first round is determined by winning record, division winners in order of winning record. The bracket is seeded so if 1 will play 2 in ALCS and the ALDS’s will be 1v4 and 2v3 if the higher regular season winning team wins against those with a weaker record. Padres had the most wins of a second place finishing team so they’re seeded to play the first seed in the NL, the Dodgers in the NLDS.
