This was our first trip to a tropical paradise and for our first experience here it was truly amazing. Great staff, food and entertainment. I highly recommend this resort.
@@Paterson340 yes, do NOT go there! Absolutely horrible, I’ve been to many resorts and I never had such a negative experience. Food so bad that I lived mostly with bread and butter (had food poisoning as well), alcoholic drinks had literally 5 drops of alcohol in them, the weakest coffee possible (tasted like was diluted), rooms small old and smelly, no pressure shower it took forever to get washed, a never ending hunt for beach chairs and towels. TOWELS! We succeeded to get 2 towels the second day there and we kept them , we knew we are not going to get others if we returned them. Very unsafe grounds, the whole area was a health hazard. Fridge in the room didn’t work, light didn’t work and had a very noisy fan on the ceiling that couldn’t be stopped. After two days of keep asking them they finally came and fix it. I can go on and on but bottom line is please find another resort

Hi - great video with tons of information. Just wondering what the big wooden deck area is at the beach near the beach bar? Is it private or can anyone use it?
So long as you request a first floor room you will be fine. You may want to contact the resort directly though just to make sure the width of the door can accommodate a wheelchair. The rest of the resort shouldn’t be an issue with a wheelchair
Thanks for posting this! I'll be there in early March 2020 :) How did you find the beach? I've seen other videos where it looked like there was a lot of garbage on the sand in the afternoon. Is the water pretty clear? Or full of algae?
Hi Jessica, I have been to this resort a couple of times and have never seen an issue with garbage on the beach. The beach in front of BlueBay is probably the best in the area as the sand extends well into the water. Further down the beach at the other resorts there are lots of large rocks under the water. So long as there hasn't been a recent storm the water is pretty clear. I went snorkeling quite a bit and could easily see 15 - 20 feet under water. Hope that helps
I was there last February 2020 Dont go there it is a cheap place . the buffet is not safe . one spoon for the fish the chicken and salad , the beech is ordinary . you have to go 2 or 3 milles north to find better place . me and my wife was sick for 2 weeks after that . go to Grand Bahia Principe at Punta Cana instead
If you don't mind me asking what type of room did you have? I am going in March but my friend was just there is December and had a superior room and it look nothing like this or the photos they posted online! Did you have to request certain accommodations?

Yes - I would advise booking your reservations as soon as you arrive to ensure you get the day and times you want
