This step-by-step tutorial will show you how to go about applying Powderstone in one coat, with different metallic paints applied over it. We included a few special effects to give you some inspiration, but Powderstone on its own is a great product to use.

Powderstone is a natural lime-based venetian plaster sold as a powder, that can be used to create various effects, from natural-looking finishes to textured effects with a single coat application.
Powderstone can be covered using metallic paints (Gimcyn, Gimcyn Chroma, Gimcyn Luxury, Infinity, Sioloc, Sioloc Suede, Tintoretto) or a colour wash (Lime Eco for indoors, or Velature for outdoors) to achieve different finishes and effects to suit different design preferences and applications.

Check out our tutorial for San Marco's Powderstone decorative palster! It's a lime-based Venetian plaster, applied on one coat. It can be combined with other decorative materials, such as metallic paints like we did here, or a lime paint for an ultra natural, rustic look!
