I live in MB, but hardly ever go here because they don't offer a local discount unless you know of a way to get one. Wild Water and Wheels didn't either. I guess the season pass would work but I just don't go to water parks much.
For a single visit the Groupon was the best discount we found. Yes I suppose as a local they would expect you to use the season pass but I see why that wouldn't work if you don't go that often.
I loved Myrtle Waves when I was a kid. I really want to go back but I think I am not a Lazy river kinda guy now. Some of the buildings look like they could use a remodel and I was not impressed with the cabanas. I bet they charge a fortune for them.
It's definitely a nice park! They have prices for the cabanas online.
What about North Myrtle Beach pier update?
If you're referring to the cherry grove pier, last news I heard is it is partially open but not fully open yet.
Random question, the Pavillion parking garage (on 9th st near Ripleys believe it or not) says on Google that it’s open 24hrs. Do you by chance happen to know if you can park there overnight?
I don't know that for sure. I definitely wouldn't go by Google. If you can find a number for the parking garage I would give them a call.

We mention the location in the video. It's on Mr Joe White Avenue just off 17 bypass near Broadway at the Beach.
Can you just walk in the lazy river? Here at Dorney Park, you have to be in a tube to be in the lazy river.
Yes we saw people just walking.
@CarmenandBrian That is odd. They lazy river at the park here isn't really lazy because you go under waterfalls.
Amazing how empty it is. Gone 4 times and it's been crazy packed with people. Bring sunscreen!!!!

@@CarmenandBrian it's crazy how many people fit there, but the lines aren't super long. The slides are not bad wait, but it's longer waiting for a donut for the lazy river

According to a google search, SC State tax on goods and services is 6%. City of Myrtle Beach is an additional 1%.
