- Today we head to the LEGO store for DOUBLE POINTS!! We end up going to 2 STORES getting WAY TO MUCH STUFF! Not only was it double points... but our store still had the Forrest Hideout promo! We get a little bit of everything and it ended up being a nice haul that will add some beauties to the LEGO room.

Starting to get back into lego and the amount of sets I want is ridiculous! Excited to go to my local lego store this weekend!
10% off is a good deal on sets which are exclusive to Lego stores only. For many other sets the discounts are usually much better worthy other retailers.
However, the combo of forest hideout and double VIP was a superb offer. This stacking option was not available in Europe! 😭
Hopefully (and a rumour also) the forest hideout is coming back. Jup it's only double points here in the Netherlands :-(
It would need to be 50% off to be worth it on Aussie store anymore lol. I decided to take a month off after purchasing the Dr Who set new in box i had my eye on for a while which is already 7 years old. Crazy.

I dunno. I have wasted about 15k on Lego in the past 3 months lol. I ended up having to force myself to stop buying new sets lol. I did buy some for investment as well.
@@DEVILTAZ35 that’s not a nerd problem that’s an unhealthy obsession if you have money to burn then more power to you if not then you really should limit your purchases and having a reasonable budget will only make the few stuff you buy even sweeter

I am so stoked. I did some RETIRED LEGO Set shopping this week, and found myself a unopened TUNING SHOP (60258), and a Guardians of the Galaxy MILANO Ship Set (76021)! I also found myself a 2015 LEGO 60075, which also came with the Pizza Van for less than $100, when 60075 alone usually runs $150-$200!!!!! I had to be increasing my Construction sets and workers, otherwise my City will never be built! I want to do some kind of stop animation of construction workers building my LEGO city, but I am told stop animation can take a lot of time, so we will see!
I love finding retired sets on good deals! I also recently discovered that LEGO had made MINING SETS!!! So they even have construction style sets to excavate massive amounts of Lego Land Blocks to make room for a city. ;-)

I just used a 100 dollar discount using my points I had 14,737 points but now i am only at 1,737 points because I bought the Jim Lee Batman art set for double vip points

The double points bonuses really aren’t worth it in my opinion, you’re better off waiting for a good GWP that you can then sell on for over twice as much as the cashback the points would have got you.

some people on whatnot do pick 2s and start it above there actual price which force people to fight over the figs they prefer rather than running 1 fig and getting a lower payout. i’m not a fan over those but that’s how u get the biggest payout

Not really a city update, but you should add a highly detailed train station in front of city hall. Also, in the past I have made custom trains for my city such as the Southern Pacific Daylight.

Went to the lego store on sunday not much new but really exicted to go next month for the loop coaster august is the big one when there more new sets
I had to settle for a double vip shop at home order this year but I scored almost everything on my wanted list except for the DeLorean. Thankfully that and the Jurassic Park set are newer sets so they will be out for a while. Those and 2 more batman art sets are my most wanted 2022 sets I still need that are 18+ while the only 2022 city set I need is the new grocery store set later this year.

Great video Bricksie! It would be awesome if you get the Jurassic World set and place the Triceratops in the middle of a road and use storytelling to create a small traffic jam and then have a team of ACU people trying to recapture the dinosaur!
Large Mini Figs- if they had brought out Buzz and Woody first that would have been a better introduction. I would buy that!
Ok just an idea but what if you made like some space in the Lego city and got a football stadium like old Trafford or the bernabéu stadium so you could do like the olympics or World Cup or just any sports tournament

Love your channel. Just got back into lego after growing up in the late 80s and 90s loving it. I have been out of work sick and bored, my partner(work) suggested jigsaw puzzles. I immediately got frustrated with that, but then I thought of Lego, because I have been watching videos of the new incredible sets. I ordered the star wars trash compactor diorama and another Starwars set, and was instantly hooked. I also have to admit that the company is very consumer friendly. I ordered a few sets online(I am home sick obviously) to get the forestman hideout representative of my childhood and then on 6/23 I ordered a few of the 90 years classic sets and a bunch of baseplates. The VERY NEXT day I got an Email about double points from 6/24-6/30. Obviously I was annoyed that I had placed a $200 order the day before. I wrote customer service and they actually gave me double points for my order on 6/23, as well as my previous order I placed to get the forestman hideout. Kudos to Lego, that is top notch customer service and I am loving being back to building.

Autumn last year i got into lego again, bought alot og Harry Potter sets and alot of pick and build pieces. Today i purchased my first sorting sorage unit from cocraft, and can finally start to get a better sorting system out of "my current chaos"
Any chance yoy could make a video with ideas for lego fans who just has much less storage units, and has some limit as to what pieces goes into each compartment? Would be very helpful with some tips regarding limited space and what pieces to prioritize if you only own 2 or 3 medium sized storage units.

Thats awesome you were able to get the Forest man sets. I was about to make an order online during the promo and it removed it at the last second. Missed out on the set by two minutes. Ah well there will be another one :) some great sets you purchased. :) Happy building

Awesome 2X haul. So you're telling me I can build a Jack Skellington art out of a Mickey Mouse art set? Sign me up because I love Nightmare Before Christmas. The Horntail and the Landspeeder are on my list but I'll have to wait until next year at the earliest (possibly) because I blew my budget during 2X and got the 2nd Batman art to build Harley Quinn to finish the art wall as well as the Disney Castle (which I see a lot of minifigure potential in with customization if you ask me). Now just comes the waiting game for them to not only ship but get to me. Awesome video as I was anticipating when your 2X points haul.

I have an adversity towards stickers. Either print or don't. I understand it might increase the price of a set but printed tiles are a better perceived quality and frankly just way better looking.
Punisher tho... That is a great minifig. I'd love one of those myself but that bugle set just does nothing for me otherwise.
I think stickers definitely have their pros and cons, for one they’re both optional and far more opaque than any printing Lego does, personally I would only be alright with Lego replacing all stickers with prints once we’d seen that they’ve improved their printing quality
