    This is a special episode this week! Peek behind the scenes to see our local Diesel shop, Marine Diesel of the FL Keys, complete the shaft work for my Island Packet 320 - Southern Star! They will work on my J Prop feathering propeller, install a PYI Dripless stuffing box, remove and replace the cutlass bearing and install a drive line saver and install a new shaft zinc anodes! Pretty Cool Stuff!

    Like watching but am shocked on the huge amount of 5200 being used. The next poor guy is going to have one heck of a time replacing anything that has been in contact with 5200. Thanks and keep up the good videos.

    Thank you for making this video! I'm currently in the yard in Key West on my IP38 and need to replace the cutlass bearing. It looks like Mark managed to pull the shaft without removing the rudder. ("!!!") Would love to talk to you and get some more details about how it was done. Best regards, Jeff.

      @Kris Baker Hi Kris, I just hauled out at Keys Fisheries yesterday. (Just down from Prop Doc.) I'll stop over and say "hi" next week. :-) Have lots of blisters to grind this weekend... :-(

    why 5200 on the stern tube? You may need to remove that stern tube again in the future.
