Very interesting video. Is there a way to figure out the date of manufacture of a HMT watch. I have a handwound mechanical HMT Amar bought from an HMT store in mumbai about 10 years back (few years before it was about to close). On the back 0396 is mentioned. Does that indicate the date/year?
Thx a lot sir, on hmt 0 is main jalalabad or bengaluru watch fectory number ,3 is serial number and year of manufacturing was 1996.in late 2000 they sold many 90s watches..due to closing of hmt only bengluru fectory is on everything is closed so jalalabad bengluru is only the 0 after 90s
