When I started junior high school, I had a crush on a guy named David. When I started watching this, I had a crush on David Ruprecht. So great looking for a guy his age.
It blew me away when I found he played the guy that Janet marries in the series finale for Three's Company.

I haven't seen that movie yet, among a million others. Lol. I imagine it came out sometime between Threes Company and Supermarket Sweep. He's not a bad actor.
"The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island" where he played the Howell's son was from 1981, and the Three's Company finale was in 1984, so it was actually three years earlier.

Yeah, I found this sad as to why Johnny Gilbert was retired from announcing supermarket sweep and got replace by randy west, but hey, at least he had an good run of being an announcer of supermarket sweep since the last old decade, and I’m glad that he still an announcer from jeopardy, but who knows.
also, David will always be the best host of this game show since back in the day. ( which is the old days. )

Shame there isn't a bonus required to be paid for finishing the bonus round that quickly! Something like... $5,000 * number of seconds left on the clock = total win. Which in this case, 30 seconds, would be $150,000.
