    The thing is, Kuminga deserves this ring too. He played well every time he got on the court this season.

      Each and every player deserves their ring. It is not just about playing in the playoffs. They ALL contributed to get to where they were in the playoffs. At some point in the season, they all played roles.

    Jonathan Kuminga is saying the right things and that is really nice. Brother, listen to the veterans as always, especially Draymond Green and Andre. Accept your role under the great Steve Kerr, they know what they are doing. We have a structure and culture at GSW that produces great results in time. Check with Jordan Poole. When it is time Stephen Curry will allow you to be yourself and that will be a great gift to you.

    I hope Kuminga stays patient, I would have played him, because the Warriors are not an athletic team and other teams, like Memphis and Minnesota are getting younger. Wiseman, Poole, and Kuminga together shows a promising future.

    • @stephenikem734
      @stephenikem734 Před 2 lety

      I can see why Steve Kerr did not use him against Boston even though he is exceptionally athletic and good. There could be several reasons in my view. First, the refs have not developed a deep respect for him and fouls could have been called for things that Draymond got away with. Second, he is still learning that unpredictable, quick think on your feet offense that GSW runs. You see how many times Steph runs behind and around Draymond just to shake a defender. Third, he has not gotten really good with the Warrior's quick fill the space cuts that confuse teams. If there is even a tiny space, Draymond expects a quick cut and that is where he will throw that ball. These are why Warrior's trade does not always work out. Their system is complex. JK has been a part of regular-season success and I think that he will be ready to go at all levels next year. He was after all a big part of their regular-season wins. Even more importantly, he is around a group that accepts him and is willing to teach him....the two most important factors in success in a team or family.

    Times like this I keep remembering Patrick McCaw won two rings with the warriors and one with the raptors the next year. It's really important to believe the system because he could still be with the warriors

      Somebody must’ve been in that kids ear. He wanted the bag but he wasn’t good like that. Problem is Kuminga, Poole, and maybe Wiseman ARE good like that. Whatever Joe and Bob do this summer I’m good with but damn do they got their work cut out for them this summer lol

    • @eyeballs306
      @eyeballs306 Před 2 lety +3

      Yes he has 3 rings but he didn’t really play and JK and Moody’s career will be far more if they commit to being humble and learning.

    I think GSW is also considering the personality of the player that they will draft. Almost all of the players they drafted are humble (and patience) from Curry, Klay down to JK and Moody. I can't imagine LaMelo, Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant being a Warrior. I don't think they will fit in the culture of GSW tbh.
