EDIT (2019): This is so cringe worthy to watch in hindsight, but I'm too lazy to redo this so I'll leave it be. Also enough of y'all have been blowing up my phone asking for download links to preset manager 1.0 so here:

ebnzr I find it useful but when i did this especially when I'm in 'regedit' the files that you clicked as seen from video pops-out an error but mine does not but still I can't see my presets in Filter Packages..What should i do? :( i really need it for project presentation

man i just trying to find the folder where i saved my presets in sony vegas. not ones i download but the ones i made, applies and saved within the program. where is that?
Its juss that all the audio and video FX doesnt show up anymore, i tried looking for them but it just wont show up, idk if its fom a windows update or something because before it was normal, im not sure how all the FX disappeared, even the Project video properties wont open, it just closes :(

I have no idea why, but it doesn't show the fx chain in my system. But when I go to Vegas it shows the presets and when I try to apply them nothing happens

I am able to copy the presets to the system, but they still don't show up in Sony Vegas. They say "stream" in the regedit and everything. I tried running as administrator. Am I doing something wrong?

Followed every step, but the plugins that I copied to the system in Preset Manager 1.0 are unregistered.
EDIT: I solved this, the reason this may happen to you is that you do not own Sapphire, RSBM, or any other plugin that the creator of the plugins has used to make the effect.

They just won't be in sonic foundry I did it 3 times already and they landed everywhere but not where they are supposed to be (Sony Presets for example)

VenomDragon atlast the reason why i cant use presers because the maker of the preset needs the sapphire plug ins in order to work the presets. Now my problem is done.

When I try to open the Plug-in Manager Sony Vegas keeps crashing before I can see any Plug-ins. (It's a problem I've had before I tried this though) But aren't the plug-ins still supposed to show up in video FX so you can drag them into videos? if they are, they still won't show up in Sony Vegas. hey i’m sorry it’s been awhile since i’ve played around with this software but my best advice is to do an uninstall of sony vegas and a fresh reinstall. make sure you’re doing all of this from an administrator account as well
Before trying this, the plugins actually came up in Sony Vegas but I clicked ''add'' and nothing happened. Now after doing this I click ''add'' and an ''unregistered'' tab pops up, but when I click ok it disappears. At least I made progress. I guess this is the plugin packs problem and not Preset Manager's problem. Thanks a ton this is the only useful explanation out there. It shouldn't have been so bad to find this,

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE THIS OUT FOR DAYS
For me, the files did not copy over, not sure why
I know they didn't because I didn't see anything in the System presets
and in the registry I did not see any file named Stream
The Preset Manager isn't letting me copy the packs effects down to "System Presets"
Please make an updated video on this, I tried everything but I still can get it to work :( need help

i have a problem plz help, i have different external presets in filter package folder eg. transitions and lut but if i add lut from filter package on a clip, so the transition or what so ever on same clip i added before delete automatically. what is this ?? plz help
i can only use one thing from filter package at a time on one clip. (it does n't make plugin chain it deletes the previous and starts new)

Preset Manager 2.0 (updated version) did not allow me to add presets. So I had to remove 2.0 and install the older version 1.0 to make it work. RoninShi salutes you!

ive been at this for hours and i cant fix it even with this video i really thought it'd work it still wont like apply the effect to the clip its likes its there but not there for the pc its so irritating. i mihgt try different vegas like vegas 14 prolly
yeah i’ve only ever tried it with vegas 14 that’s probably your best bet
