- Santa Monica Police Officers issued an advisal to an individual found camping at Santa Monica Beach on Sunday, June 2, 2024. The officers informed the individual that they would return in 30 minutes to check for compliance. They also stated that a second offense would result in a citation and a third offense in arrest. The man complied and dismantled his tent.
Santa Monica Municipal Ordinance 4.08.095 prohibits camping in public spaces within the city. This ordinance defines camping as the use of tents, huts, or any temporary shelters as living accommodations in public areas, including parks, beaches, streets, alleyways, parking lots, and other public spaces. This measure aims to balance the need for public order with the wellbeing of all community members.

keep the drones flying people safe thanks in advance
If you are a homeless You could get evicted everywhere you go it’s basically matter of time for a cop to come and remove you 😮 sucks but that’s the system right now. (Mission name : Cleaning the streets)
Ugh they ruined the beach letting all those vendors set up on the sand
Thanks for the adventure. Love the air shot. Seems like every time I go to launch my drones in that area I get pop ups restricting take off. What's your secret? Maybe it's just the DJI drone I'm using. Further up I have no problem. Nothing like flying at the beach...No trees!..ha ha. Have a great day!
I hope those are not the same people from last year who got kicked out from having no license for those old nasty fruit carts...
some of them probably are but it was only because of certain fruit types theyre not allowed to sell I think it was primarily cantaloupes and maybe melons - theyre just people tryin to make an honest living and they probably double as security at least some of them more than likely do
So big deal, they wrote him a ticket and he just went back to sleep.
What about camping in the parks after hours? Sleeping bags?
nope, they cracked down on that an enforcing the laws--people got fed up with the mess, noise, drug use, crime.
@@tysa1999 I went to the park early morning and lots of leftover overnight campers. No enforcement
@@melaniemartin1975 I know they kicked everybody out of Echo Park a couple of years ago. If you see it, I would report it. In my home state, I've reported it and they send the cops right away.
So camping in the bathrooms ok camping on the beach not ok got it.
Beautiful place the people are cool, they are very conscious place I miss it
I think when the police pull up to these encampments they should have info to tell these people they can go here it is awkward when you set up a tent on the beach like just thinking about it it also makes the beach look bad but there doing there job 🙏🤙🏾
The beach does have water to shower there an toilets before they close evening hours
They do provide them with homeless services info. Some people refuse help and insist they can camp anywhere.
That’s true they do refuse assistance
As far as the police moving encampments
What I’m saying is
If you guys are like moving encampments why not have like a brochure to assist the homeless I’m sure they just move them without having info
Like I’m saying they should have a social worker there as well it is the most populated state in the country
When they take these encampments off the beach have some place they can go
Where are they going to go there just going to go a few blocks an for the community
I was homeless there few months an because I got some info they got me in a place after few months being homeless so I understand an I understand some homeless people don’t look for help but at least if you have something to offer them an not just move or trash there encampments I would hope they would consider the services provided
It ain’t easy
An I like Cali because they do help there’s not a lot of places that give Gr
Cali is cool but can be a wild place for others luckily I didn’t have bad experiences when I was there but threats are sometimes present
Nice stuff there at the end!
They are doing it wrong. Don't allow a single tent on the beach period. Patrol day and night. Remove campers immediately.
I'll tell ya. Those GTA5 mods are looking more and more real every year. The NPCs are especially realistic.
No Mas 👎 To Tents On The Beach .
Bums.
WLM
..BIGTIME
Hey, on those buggies, " License , registration and plates not visible."
yeah NO VEHICLES ON THE BEACH unless theyre driven by you know who haha
Need designated areas for homeless camping and it has to stay camping NOT permanent tent and piled trash and make shift buildings. If I cant do it then they cant either. Homeless need to know they are accountable and good citizens too.
Whatever Officer Robocop Madrid says goes. Do not even try, just COMPLY!💪
MOVE TO CHINA
Wow! A video consisting of cops riding around on the beach! Very boring!
Why would anyone want to go to Santa Monica? It's a crap beach with crap people I'll stay in the OC
I was in So Cal last year and I drove by Santa Monica and saw all the homeless and kept driving.
There is homeless all over OC too. Laguna Beach has plenty of them.
@@herbertthewaterrat nope and F**k Laguna beach
ITS NO CAMPING NOT ANTI -CAMPING ,,,,,,,,,,,LOL
The current accepted definition of homeless people are campers vs unhoused or tented from years past, looks like a nationwide sweep going on reclaiming the trashed areas campers occupied,
a lot of the garbage that people discretely bury in the sand while theyre out there gets found by the tractors and drones that comb the beach sand like cultivators raking the sand several inches deep - its all evidence of abuse
Because it's an election year.
So much for free USA, even the homeless gets evictions.
ok bub
Why not? We all pay for roofs over are heads. We'll the ones who can.
And we pay high taxes time to put that money to use and get them of our public parks and beaches e.t.c .
@@ferndawg91 plus they all get , some form of government money, SSI, disability checks for being a druggie, or social security 🤔, plus ebt cards. They can afford new tents ⛺️. System of USA free, is broken.
@@Coffee240 so sad we give it to people who don't want to be productive.
BTW . This is an IA vid. Fake cos where is Daisy if this is real?
what "Daisy" sometimes is off doing is more than likely classified and not for your ignorant eyes or attitude
Did someone mention dissy ? Me no care for her whacky talk
