As a media designer, I find it increasingly annoying that we do not have VST support in Camtasia. In my opinion, professional audio editing is not feasible without VST integration. There's no choice but to do the editing later in professional video editing software, and then you might as well record there right from the start.
I'm not finding Assets in the Camtasia editor very useful - stock footage, images, backgrounds, icons etc examples seem to be severely limited compared to the previous version where you visited the actual assets website.
You can still access library.techsmith.com if you prefer the website version. We didn't take that away, just integrated it to the software for an easier experience. Make sure you're using the search tool if you're looking for something specific. That helps.
Assets are okay. The problem is the subscription price for the Premium level. $200/year is way more than what it ought to be, given the maintenance fee, which is about $60/year.
