- #Confucius (551-479 BC) is China's great philosopher and educator. His doctrine on etiquette and benevolence has profoundly influenced China and the world.
One of his famed sayings goes "Since we have come, let us stay and enjoy it." Follow the advice of the great mind, join us to watch the dance drama, Confucius.
Confucius depicts the great philosopher's tour around the ancient Chinese states. In 497 BC, Confucius left his hometown - the state of Lu, starting a 14-year journey around other states to promote his philosophical ideas. It's a journey where dreams go unfulfilled.
Confucius, produced by the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater, is directed by Kong Dexin, a direct descendent of Confucius.
#孔子 是中国古代著名的思想家、教育家，儒家学派的创始人。
舞剧《孔子》展示了孔子周游列国的生命历程，这是不断碰壁的旅程。是完 成梦想的不归途，是求“仁”而不得的坎坷路。
乱世，国君昏庸，沉溺女色，问政孔子，却又形同虚设；群臣奸佞独断，勾心斗角。孔子进谏，推行礼制仁政，却屡屡遭拒。宫廷的争斗累及孔子，他被迫奔亡。
在危困绝粮的风雪之中，孔子仿佛见到了理想的大同世界…….而现实依旧是战争频仍，百姓流离失所。黑暗中，归途里，幽兰操不再是自伤自怜的琴歌，而是任重道远的颂唱。看似归途，大“道”仍在路上……

21年春节，冒着疫情，做了核酸，特意飞北京去国家大剧院看了一场，服装音乐堪称完美，希望再有巡演
This is a gorgeous dance performance. The stunning and aesthetically beautiful Chinese stage props, costumes, full orchestra, graceful dancers. This is a world class production and performance. China should tour the world, with this very high standard of production, showcasing their amazingly rich 5000 year old culture and traditions.
This is the most beautiful show I have ever had the opportunity to see in China. Only the Bolshoi., In the world can reach this high level.
This show captivates by the high quality of the artists, the staging, the music and the songs, the costumes and above all its choreography.
To understand, it is useful but not essential to know a little about the biography of Confucius in this case, this show will bring you total happiness.

My first time to see anything of this high standard from China, both the dancing and music were wonderful. The star dancer who played Confucius was absolutely amazing. The whole cast wonderful. Thank you I really enjoyed it.
