Recipe and preparation:
Friends, hello 👋! Today we are going to prepare incredibly delicious granola bars.
80 grams of rolled oats.
100 grams of raisins.
80 g walnuts, finely chopped.

100 g dried apricots, also finely chopped
1 banana.
Mash the banana to a puree.
Stir thoroughly.
25x15 mold size.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes.
160 g dark chocolate without sugar.
Melt in any way.

1 teaspoon vegetable oil.
Place in the fridge for 40 minutes.
Cut into portions.

Raw unprocessed cane sugar is just as ok as natural sugar from fruit. There’s no need to stay away from “added” sugars. OP is being illogical and fraudulent with his recipes and video titles.

correction: without ADDED sugar. because bananas, raisins, and apricots are full of sugar. While it is difficult to get too much sugar from fresh fruit, because dried fruit has no moisture, it is compact and energy dense, and it is easy to eat large amounts at a time, which can result in excess sugar and calorie intake. So if you eat one serving bar, it is great, but if you eat 2+ bars then you will have a severe sugar spike in your blood > insulin > fat storage.
Don't forget the oats lol.

I like oranges better than tangerines, I was eating an orange while watching your video, lol. The energy bars look wonderful. I'm definitely going to try several of your banana and chocolate desserts, all the ones with about 2 to 4 ingredients, but I might branch out eventually. That looks really delicious but it definitely contains sugar. The raisins have tons of sugar.
If someone ask you to buy sugar, do you then come home with raisins? This is a question about definition, not about carbohydrates turning into glucose in the bloodstream. There is absolutely no “sugar” directly in this recipe.
@@HSdanish learn some facts about sugars mate. Banana and raisins may not have refined sugar, but they have, as you pointed out carbohydrates that cause insuline and glucose spikes. They break down over a few hours and are in fact SUGAR. Have a banana and get your glucose levels checked after a few hours, you will see a significant spike. Good thing you don't teach nutrition.

Tried your recipe, Just made a couple of variations since I didn't have a couple of ingredients at hand. Replaced the apricots with dates and the raisins with dried cranberry and also added some honey. They look great. Have them in the fridge for breakfast. My daughters can't wait to try them tomorrow before school for breakfast. Thanks for.sharing.
Yea... I did it with peanuts instead of oats... Cuz I don't like oats in that much quantities... And dry as well...
I added almonds and some cashews... Made some caramel...
Used only raisins and skipped on apricots... (Also made a different batch with dried peaches added)
Just making it with chocolate, makes it hard on the outside, but quite brittle on the inside... Caramel gave it a good consistency, and shape...
Also it goes pretty well with white chocolate as well... U can skip on the caramel with white chocolate, as it will be too much calories...
This looks delicious and simple to make. The only thing I'd do differently is to use a riper banana so it's naturally sweeter. Bravo!
even more sugar, is the 75% of sugar from the raisins not enough, don't be surprised if you end up a diabetic.
@The Prophet haha nope. I use bananas as the sole sweetener in banana bread without adding any sugar as recipes call for. I don't cook with sugar at all. Its just known that as a banana ripens it's flavor intensifies. I prefer eating bananas alone just like he used here, but for baking, it is a good way to put older bananas to use without waste, and the flavor and sweetness is the benefit. If the raisins did make it too sweet then yeah some adjustments should be made using the brown bananas.

It is good though for people to be aware of the huge amount of natural sugar and to limit these to one a day.

I used to make something like this all the time! I would also add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, peanut butte (sometimes chocolate cups/nibs) and coconut oil. Then I would roll it and stick it in the freezer for a while.
